Exactly. And boring. Two guys charge at each other and then roll around on the ground for five minutes. It is mind-numbingly DULL to watch. I will never understand how anyone can find that sort of silliness entertaining.
Oh yeah, street fights between world class boxers and MMA fighters break out all the time. It's almost reaching epidemic proportions. I bet Tim Lincecum could strike out Lance Armstrong in a streetball game...
Rampage isn't a hype job. Can you punch at 1800 PSI???.....That "hype job" can :yep and he isn't a boxer.
this is the only reply that really matters in here... they are totally different and shouldnt be compared its just about what you like better... i enjoy the flow of boxing more personally
This is true only if the fight goes to the ground, but if you're someone like Lidell who is good at take down defense and sprawls, then the boxer can keep it on the feet and win.
The thing about MMA is that you'll never know who's gonna win. Sometimes all it takes is one lucky punch like Matt Serra over GSP 1. And sometimes all you need to do is lay and pray your opponent for the win! There are lucky punches in boxing but I think it's more skill than luck. So I think boxing is more competitive.
