Yesterday's Buncey hour.... shambles.

The week after he gave the camera the two fingers!

Although no swearing from Buncey this week, seems like he has toned down a bit...

 

The bell made me rush my Stella - I kept on thinking it was last orders. Apart from that and the terrible camera angles at first, it was great. Eubank was too slow at times, but his comments were worth waitng for. I creased myself when he was lecturing Adam Booth about how David Haye should train - he was dead right mind, and he really spoke his mind about James DeGale, saying he guaranteed DeGale would not be succesful. I've never liked Eubank, but I certainly resprct him. A great fighter and somebody to take notice of.

 

regarding the Camera angles we kept getting a view of the back of Eubanks head. I enjoyed the show and love listening to Chris cause even with his pauses he still comes out with rubbish!

 

apart from the bell, loved the show yesterday.

i was suprised they had eubank on, knowing what he's like but i thought he came across well and enjoyed his little speech about young boxers getting the money before earning respect in the ring

groves was in decent form as well with the degale banter. pity i couldn't quite make out everything maguire said

 

The show was great with Eubank & Morrison. I rather listen to them than the likes of Audley & Degale. Nobody should feel sorry for McCullough because he's kidding himself thinking he can still fight...let it go Wayne!

But then there was the problem of not actually 'watching' the show

 

Anyone notice that no-one here ever calls Steve Bunce Steve?
Its always Bunce & Buncey, never Steve!

Just a thought...

 

Criticism is always good as long as it is constructive, nevertheless, we should be happy to even have such a show, they say boxing is dying but the job setanta and steve/andy are doing in promoting our sport is magnificent.

Having guests shown on both sides of the table made it different this week and meant that it was a bit disjointed but yeh, so what.

I didn't hear the fat ******* comment but heard Rhodri apologising on a repeat where they must have cut it. I loved the 2-fingers Buncey gave the other week and I think that Morrison swore this week - can't remember what he said but only something like crap or something.

 

I keep missing the 'live' show due to work these days so dont get the chance to email as much as I did but all should be good for this coming thursday

 

I thought Eubank was actually good value. Invite him on your show and you know he's gonna go off on a few tangents, but he's still worth having. One thing i would say os that it would maybe be better having fewer guests so there is no need to rush them and the interview can be a bit more depth. Whats happened to Andy Kerr, is he coming back ?

 

Andy's just had a baby girl with his mrs a couple of weeks back and shouldnt be long til he returns to the boxing hour. He was in the studio with Steve for the Mosley v Margarito fight.
