116-111 is rounds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12 IMO its bull**** but in the rbr thread you will see quite a few ppl gave Berto the 1st
Collazo won the damn fight by AT LEAST 2 ROUNDS. The least point differential should have been Collazo +3 over Berto, the LEAST. Collazo showed me that he is a more than adequate gatekeeper of the elite in the WW division. I now feel confident in saying that Berto does not have what it takes to compete in the elite of the division and his lack of KO power and terrible defense will have him getting beaten by a low level elite WW in Cintron, if Cintron chooses to compete in WW again or by Clottey, Williams, Cotto, Margarito, and Shane (even in his old age).
I gave berto the 1st. Besides being caught with a good shot off balance Collazo did nothing. Berto came back and stunned him with some good clean shots.
EZE, check San Rafaels thread. 70% of this board picked Berto to win. Even more then that are seeming to claim now that he lost the fight on a close decision now that its over. Not everyone was bias against berto.
I am really starting to wonder about some of you crackhead mother****ers... Sound off the rounds that Collazo won clearly.....that would just throw an automatic shut the **** up to your whole argument. About 3 rounds were toss up rounds. Collazo dominated two rounds...Berto dominated two(12th could of been a 10-8).
I never said I agreed. Im merely stating what Lennox said. Lennox said he shouldn't rematch him right away. Basically saying Collazo would train even harder, cause he feels he should of won. Both took a beating. Berto has no need to rush a rematch. Now, if they rematched later this year, lets say May/June. Ill be more than happy.
Berton didn't land a meaningful punch in the 1st or 2nd round. Collazo scored more cleanly and was busier. Most of Berto's punches were off target or rolled by Collazo. Berto was clearly outclassed tonight.
I honestly had Berto winning 114-113. Collazo struggled down the stretch. His slaps weren't doing anything past round 8. And I like Collazo. I just think Berto wore him down. And Berto showed me something tonight. I really thought he would be ko'd after watching the first three rounds. He dug deep. Anyone who wants to fight for a title should have to go through Collazo.
What? No way. Berto controlled him in that round. Moved and ducked shots came back and landed 2 or 3 good shots, stunning Collazo.
