Froch was seriously hurt. Yet Jermaine did nothing. He had little time though, but barely threw anything. I'm still a fan. Once a fan, always a fan.

Froch was not seriously hurt, his eyes were clear, he got up, Taylor knew that. Froch was caught by a punch while he was off balance, that's all.

The thread starter and most jermain Taylor critics are making too much of his losses to only two men: Kelly pavlik and now Carl Froch.

There is no shame in losing to either Pavlik or Froch. Both men are very athletic and very tough, mentally and physically.

i wish more fighters would take more calculated risks like jermain Taylor. If more fighters were like Jermain, boxing would once again become the biggest sport on the planet.

Much respect to Jermain Taylor...the man has heart!!

I know I'm disappointed too :D . . . what's up with him? He probably reached his peak . . . so he might be on the way down already.

    Just my 2 cents.

You're absolutely right, DGM...look at his knock out ratio. You would think that a man with his athleticism would have more than 17 KOs.

He really should study more fights with kostya Tszyu...that guy knew how to close out a fighter in trouble. He would work the body first and go back upstairs when his opponent would cover his ribs. Masterful!!

Yeah, Froch was not seriously hurt, Taylor hadn't yet torn his head off.

Taylor had a great fight - just got beaten by a more determined boxer.

Taylor showed brilliance in some of the rounds looking at the replays. I think he's still able to become world champion and maybe beat froch in a rematch.

I listened to the BBS interview someone posted a link too. Yeah, he said he was hurt, but not when he was knocked down. He clearly stated that was balance. He wasn't specific, but content wise, I thought he meant in the 12 and had to be cautious going in at the end.

He reminds me of Zab Judah now. Looks fantastic in the first rounds, outclassing his opponents with speed and skill but later just crumbles. I hate to see such wasted potential.
