I am showing him respect and I do think hes the best MW by far

But I don't think he can make 154

He and Abel say he can....whether he can or can't, you and I will probably never know. I can understand your doubt though. He's not a small middleweight like Cotto, after all.

    Exactly.

Plus there are bigger money fights at 154 so if he could make 154 why wouldn't he

The bigger money fights at 154 (Canelo, Mayweather, Cotto) aren't happening this year, so no point in that.

Out of that group, I bet only Canelo has the nuts to fight GGG, but that would be a bad move for him. Beatdown from pillar to post.

Why would I ask that about Ward?

I'm not a fan and its partly due to these reasons.

I understand some of the top 160 guys don't want to fight him. That's fine but K2 should make more effort to get him SMW guys at 168 or catch weight.

And GGG is also 33, fighting 3 times per year would do his health better and extend his career. If Kovalev fought 4 times per year he'd have to find another Capparello or Agnew, who wants to see that?

the best current SMW out there who has fought in the last 12 months at least once is Froch, and he already stated he doesn't want to fight GGG

Yeah if you think Froch is the best SMW then thats a legitimate stance

I still say its Ward just because I'm confident that if the fought again today, Ward would win again

But either way, fighting Froch would obviously be a huge step up from these guys

Even fighting Groves would be a huge step up from these guys

why are you and countless others demanding middleweight Golovkin to fight at Super Middleweight? why don't you demand Ward, who arguably cleaned out his division (something GGG hasn't yet done and wants to achieve), to move up to 175 and fight Kovalev or Stevenson? can't we have it both ways?

Froch already declined, HBO said it wasnt a PPV in the US. K2 offered to come to UK but Hearn just doesnt really see it.

    K2 signed for Chavez.

Ward has said he wants tuneups first, so has Virgil. Groves/DeGale have other plans. Rest of SMW a wasteland.

Best option just to take a stay busy at 160 for May, and hope to get Lee/Cotto/Canelo/NDam/Lemieux the last half of the year.

    :huh

I'm a fan of Golovkin and want to see him do big things

Trashing cans at MW isn't that big

I'm not a fan of Ward so I don't really care what he does

I do think he should fight Kovalev or Stevenson but he doesn't want those fights

As I said, I really don't care what Ward does because I don't enjoy watching him fight

    Yeah you're probably right

I just want to see Golovkin make the move up sooner rather than later because he might not be prime much longer

    Cotto
Petra Quillin aka No need to fight GGG.
    Lemieux
    Lee
