Not a fan of Floyd but for a quick sec I actually thought his knee hit the ground. Like Eze said though, once he recuperated and started backing Mosley,I knew he wasn't gonna let it happen again. Smartest guy in the ring right now, bar none.

 

I wasn't nervous because I know PBF is a slow starter and I knew Mosley would come out strong. I also knew that PBF knows how to fight smart when hurt as shown in previous fights. The best time to get to PBF is in the first 3 rounds because he uses that time to try and figure you out after round 3 was over I knew PBF had it in the bag.

For a second I thought he was gone. The moment when his knee started to go down, I thought Shane was gonna load up one more shot and put the lights out - Floyd's hands instinctively came up and after he survived the next 10 seconds, 100% honestly, I knew he was going to win an easy UD/possible late stoppage.

 

Yall shouldve been in the room where we were. We couldn't get in at the Sports bar because it was packed, so all 12 of us just went back to the crib and ordered it at my boy's house. Everybody was still talkin, gettin settled in, grabbin beers and ****... And when he got hit the first time...BOOM!

And when he came out in that third round (dragon style) people started talkin **** like that 2nd Round never happened.... **** was wild for sure.

 

I shat mysen! i was mega nervous i thought he was a gonner and about to be kayo'd but he did well to recover.

I can't even front, I was a bit nervous but I was also yelling at the TV finally! Because IMO that is exactly what Floyd needed to earn some respect. Part of me hoped that he would get knocked down, get up and spank Shane but what happened was almost as good. He still earned mucho respect.

The shot that buckled Floyd's knee - it was as loud as ****!

 

I didn't think much of it. Shane didn't look right from the opening bell and just knew he didn't have what it takes to finish off Floyd. Watch after Floyd gets hit the first time how he ties up Shane's arms enough to get some senses back. After he got rocked the 2nd time Floyd's knees buckled, but the athlete that he is, managed to stay up and avoid more punishment from the really awkward looking Shane. Seconds after that, it was Floyd walking down Shane! I knew if Shane didn't KO Floyd that 2nd round it was going to be over for him. I was right.
