I agree Cotto should spend every minute looking for the 1 big shot though, because that's pretty much the only way he wins. In fact, i'd wager that if they do fight, and he does win, it'll be with his eyes closed, flailing blindly after missing a big hook, and Maywetaher just happes to lean into a shot.

You see, Dinamite kid posted the reason Floyd fought Baldomir was because he was a champion. Thats why I am saying Cotto is a Champion too. And check this out. He became a champion KO Quintana who beat Williams, who beat Margarito. NEXT!!!!!

 

Cotto is a titlist. There is a key difference. If you pick up a vacated belt without beating the previous champion, you are simply a titlist. There is a lot of confusion out there when it comes to the ABC organizations and who really is the CHAMPION. Your analysis is correct in the fact that cotto beat q for his title. That's where it stops. Williams beating Marg and losing to Q has nothing to do with Cotto's belt. Look up what belt Q has and look up what belt Cotto has. Since both of them have belts, does that make Q the WW champion also??? Of course not, b/c those trinkets around their waists mean nothing except stating they are titlist of their respective ABC organization.

People still trying to criticize Floyd for fighting Hatton, when at the time on this very forum (once again) these same kinds of people (Floyd haters) were saying Hatton was going to destroy Floyd.

Or best yet the guy who says Cotto likes to please fans because... he took a fight with Gomez? And why is this pleasing to the fans? Because Gomez is a big threat apparently. Wow this is news to me. In all the other threads on this forum the Floyd haters are saying Cotto will destroy Gomez.
