That fight was made simply because Gatti took it. It was big money for both of them and Floyd had been calling him out since 2003. Gatti was a champion, so because Floyd beat him that's a bad thing? And journeyman Baldomir?atsch Dude he was the recognized champion at 147. He beat Judah and Gatti and that was the fight to obviously make. Leading into that fight ALOT of people thought Baldomir had a chance. B level Judah? Dude in case you forgot leading into that fight EVERYONE wanted to know what a Floyd Mayweather vs Zab Judah fight would look like. And considering what Zab did in the early part of that fight sure as hell didn't look like B level to me. Then you say a Jr welterweight that Collazo almost stopped. It's funny how leading into that fight there's ALOT of dumbasses that actually thought Ricky was gonna win, and if he did that would have been fine with the Floyd haters, but Floyd KO'S overrated Ricky and it's a crime. Floyd haters make excuses saying Ricky was to small Then you say Corrales was B level In case you forgot or watch boxing from another planet, other than Floyd, Corrales was the best at 130 pounds. In fact Corrales was picked to win that fight. Floyd was the underdog Diego Corrales WASN'T B level homie:nono He iced damn near EVERYONE he fought, especially at 130 pounds. And Castillo NEVER beat Floyd, conterversial decisions happen, Cotto got one against Mosley so there you go. And Floyd CLEARY beat Delahoya, NO ROBBERY, NO EXCUSES:-(

Blah, blah, blah. Rankings are so easily manipulated by money. Hatton is not even a 147lbs fighter. He went down to 140lbs after getting his arse kicked by Collazo. But I guessthe money against Floyd was just too good to let it pass. Baldomir is a class C fighter at his best. But you can also get a good record if you decide to fight taxi drivers.

I have a couple of questions for you: How many fighter knocked out be Cotto have lasted the 12 rounds against Roy? Have you seen Ricardo Torres KO ratio??? Did you see the end of those fights were Cotto was rocked??
Are you sure Floyd has never been down?? Or they just didn't count it??

Cotto got a very nice UNANIMOUS desicion against Mosley. And he did it, to the surprise of many people, BOXING. He proved he can box with a boxer. By the way, Mosley beat DLH twice. And Floyd got only a SPLIT desicion against Oscar.

I am not even saying that Cotto will beat Floyd. What I am saying is this fight needs to happen. For the fan and for the sport. To me, the last time Floyd fought the person he was supposed to fight was 2002. He is allowed to get away with things not other boxer is allowed. IF he was from other country I bet you anything that belt would have been taken away from him long ago. This is not even about Cotto.

Go watch Floyd vs Sosa or Floyd vs. Corley and tell me how good he looked

First off Floyd only got a split against Oscar cause one of those damn judges were trying to screw him. That should have been a unanimous decision. Clearly. And again for the MILLIONTH time HE HAD TO FIGHT BALDOMIR, BALDOMIR WAS THE RECOGNIZED CHAMPIONatsch I've seen the fight Floyd had with Sosa, and Cotto tko'd Sosa. Ok what does that prove? Cotto losing to Gomez has no weight on Floyd dominating DLH who is more well known that Cotto and Gomez combined.
