Kelly Pavlik: Right now I'm getting ready for Lockett. He is who I'm focused on right now.

LORI, MANSFIELD TX: Which is easier for you... the mental prep or the physical prep? does it get eaisier with every fight or is it the same as it was before you went pro?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: The mental prep is easier. Ther fighting is something I been training for for years.

Tim (Denver): Kelly! I can't believe your gonna chat with us! Thank you from one of your biggest fans.. I'll be watching on Saturday with my Affliction Tshirt on! Good luck. God bless!

Dr. Peter Venkman (NYC, NY): Where did you get "the ghost" nickname from?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: It started in amatur. I was a slick boxer and didn't get hit a lot. I was also was one of the only white kids that made the traveling team and thats what the black kids started to call me and it stuck.

Lori, Mansfield tx,: I like boxing alot. Also the dallas Cowboys, What is Your other favorite sports to watch?

Kelly Pavlik: I like a lot of spots. I like baseball, basketball, and football. I'm a fan of them all.

Youngstown, Ohio: Great Documentary on STO. Youngstown's proud!!! KO the "Rocket".

Will (Dallas, TX): Hey Kelly. Good luck on Saturday. What is your daily training routine?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: I run 3-6 miles in the morning. Gym in the afternoon. And some other boxing training in the evening.

Ken (Golden Valley, Minnesota): What weaknesses do you see in Gary Lockett and how do you plan to exploit them?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: Lockett is used to coming foward and I don't see him backing me up. I don't see him fighting backwards and that's what I will try to take advantage of.

Tim (Denver): I love your Teampavlik.com site. I think its probably the best boxer website out there. Please keep updating with new pics and headlines.

Stockholm Sweden: Hi Kelly, you are an inspiration to all of us, and a truly great middleweight champion of the world. If you could match any two fighters from any era, what fighters would you like to see go at it?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: I would like to see Carlos Monzon and Marvin Hagler go at it. Their two of my favorite boxers.

Daniel Källström (Iceland): Here in Iceland you have built up quite the female fanbase. The girls love your streamlined hair style and dress sense (Affliction is massive). Do you get a lot of male/female attention in the Youngstown clubs/bars?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: I have become a little bit famous in my hometown. I do have a fiance so I'm not in the bars too much anymore.

Ken (Toronto, ON): What will you eat as a pre-fight meal? Actually, what will you eat all day on Saturday - before Gary Lockett, that is?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: baked chicken and a small salad.

Alex: Champ, maybe you should throw a few rounds to Lockett, so Joe C. won't be too scared to sign.

blake (ark): who is the best fighter youve faced?

    This content is protected
Kelly Pavlik: Talant wise it would be J. Taylor. and Edison Miranda.

Tom : What was your toughest fight? Did you ever feel like you would get your first loss at any point?

    This content is protected
    Kelly Pavlik: Edison Miranda

Its a done deal, reading over the transcript from yersterdays chat. The poor guy (not poor anymore!) hardly has any time for himself. Must suck being a famous World Champion.
