    :roll: After carelessly letting the ref get very deep in the count, all the way to 8, needlessly, after he had the count all but beaten at four-and-a-half/five. Just stand the **** still, if you need to clear your head with a casual stroll then you aren't fit to continue.

    His little stagger toward the corner could have been interpreted by Sigl as signs he wasn't lucid.

    Some guys do a chicken dance after getting up too quickly, and some just meander across the ring.

    Then, in some cases, the guy really is OK but just makes the wrong choice in turning his back on the ref (as Sprott did here). But you can see where the ref's thought process was.


    It was a huge shot. If the ref had simply waved if off the moment Sprott hit the canvas nobody would be protesting it.

    I think you'll find he wasn't staggering, he seemed fine right up to the point where he held his gloves up and looked the ref dead in the eyes and still got stopped. I know we won't agree on this, but I felt he was ok when he got up, so was definitely a premature stoppage.
