There's a card in Germany coming up this month.... Cengic Kog against Oleg Platov.... a couple of Cruiserweight bouts on the card, but this fight stands out to me.... An 8 round battle of 2 good Cruiserweight prospects who are both 2 fights removed from their first loss... Both by knockout.... Ironically, Jose Luis Herrera, the guy who KO'd Williams is fighting a 12 rounder against some guy called Enad Licina.... Hernendez last fight, he was dropped and nearly lost that fight... Is it too quick to maybe put a question mark on Hernendez's chin~??

How do you see this fight turning out~??

Hernandez' knockout loss to Braithewaite was brutal. That can mess up your chin for a while, so I'll cut him some slack if he can stand up to Williams.

    Pretty good card.

Nice to see promoters with balls, making interesting matchups.

That's the absloute exact thing they said about Williams....didn't turn out like that. You can never know with a colombian puncher altough Licina is the favorite and should win.

Williams is fighting Hernandez? That is great news. Two very solid prospects, one is bout to become a contender. The Cuban with the hometown advantage here.

Also, Herrera vs Licina is another solid fight to look forward to.

PS Briathwaite has silly power, you can't question Hernandez's chin off that loss. If Williams starches him, I would definitely have a second look.

Maybe ... but Michael Simms is not a huge banger but he did deck Hernandez heavily in his last fight...

The young and talented young Cuban's weak spots seem to be his chin and his lack of mental discipline. He tends to neglect his coach's game plan trying to bomb out his foe instead of trying to use his impressive weapons.
I have never seen Aaron Willaims fight so that I cant really comment on him and his chances to be victorious against Hernandez on German soil.
Anyway! Any durable fighter with pop in his fists has a decent chance against Hernandez IMO.

His stable mate Enad Licina seems to be a little bit more promising at this stage of their careers.
I am quite impressed how toughly the unknown German based Bosnian has been matched so far.
8-9 quality names out of 16 pro fights! Very impressive indeed!
Hernandez' and Aaron's fight records look quite poor in comparison with Licina's one.

True...Licina has been matched against tough fighters...Otis Griffin,De leon Tinsley,Lubos Suda,Robert Norton and Kendrick Releford are impressive names on a resumee of only 16 fights...

I have to agree with you Odo.

But one of Hernandez or Williams could far out-do Licina with an impressive victory on this card.

Definitely a fight I'm looking forward to. I have/had high hopes on Hernandez, but after an excellent start, Braithwaite took him out rather easy and showed vulnerability vs. Simms as well... Sauerland took a huge risk with Braithwaite and it backfired. Hernandez is talented, but far from being a complete and now lacks confidence. Maybe this fight is too soon as well... I think Team Hendandez was completely sold on the Gamboa hype and thought any Cuban can jump on the world.

I don't know much about Williams, but it almost sounds like the same story. Interesting choice to let them fight each other. Are they confident to win based on the other fighter's weaknesses? Interesting...

I know about Wayn'e punching power.... He can bang... Yoan got caught with a good punch and never recovered... But I was referring to the Simms fight.... Getting dropped in 2 of your last 4 fights, it's easy to just put a question mark on his chin... It's not saying that Yoan has a weak chin or a china chin.... Aaron Williams can punch... I seen em put Andre Purlette to sleep....

Did Licinia just beat Rob Calloway in his last fight.... I know Rob fought Alexeev but he fought over there again and got stopped...

As for Hererra or Herrera, As long as he's standing up, he will be a problem for any fighter.... This guy doesn't win decisions.... You either beat him down or he beats u down.. either way, good test for Licina...
