Yoel Judah: Zab should dump Sweetpea

Pernall was right during that fight. telling him to get right down and out of the way. Of course Judah ignored this thinking hes superman and could sit there getting tagged by Khan. Judah probably thought he had speed advantage.

 

Trainers can't give you a heart transplant. Zab has no heart!

 

Zab's just a **** fighter nowadays (not that he was ever much good). I don't think Whitaker's much of a trainer either, though.

 

Yep. That is exactly the type of advice Zab needs at this point of his career.

Pernell knows you have to counter and make him pay for missing, he was begging for it in between rounds. Judah just had a hard time timing someone as quick and consistent as Khan, and has a harder time pulling the trigger when he should now that he's older.

I have to agree with the majority here. Pernell was giving Judah good advice but Judah just didn't execute it good enough.

 

Yoel's a clown. You can't blame Pea for Judah being past it and knocked around by a very talented kid coming into his own prime.
