Yokasta Valle

Was curious if anyone else here have seen Valle fight before. I haven't seen any threads about this underrated female fighter, and she just had a fight on DAZN last night. Yokasta Valle is someone that I've followed since last year thanks to my Costa Rican wife. Valle is a popular fighter in Costa Rica and I must say I am really impressed with what I've seen of her thus far. She is the current IBF and WBO female mini-flyweight champion and is eying to be undisputed in her weight class.

Hopefully Valle gets a little bit more exposure. I'm glad ODLH signed her up to Goldenboy, he obviously sees potential in her. She's a talented fighter and her style is very pleasing to the eye, good technician.

Here's her fight from last night. It's a one sided mismatch but a great showing from Valle nonetheless. She seems to continuously improve each fight.

More appreciation is welcome, she deserves more exposure. A match between her and Seniesa Estrada would be awesome and a nice clash of styles that is guaranteed nonstop action. Hoping that can get made soon.

If Valle manages to beat Estrada and becomes undisputed she’ll definitely be ranked in the female P4P list. Costa Rica really needs more fighters for the Ticos to look up to.

She’ll be on the undercard of Jose Zepeda vs Regis Prograis this weekend right before the main event. Glad to see she’s getting more exposure.

Tough fight for Valle against a very game Bermudez. But what a scrap they put on. Very close fight, congrats to Yoka. Hoping to see Valle challenge Estrada next.

 

Its an acquired taste. I personally don’t mind and fully appreciate it. When matched with the right style women’s boxing tend to be very entertaining IMO.
Good to see Valle got a bit more attention today, even if it’s for the wrong reason. She’s certainly a fun fighter to watch with her high volume attack.

 

Her next fight is tonight, most likely around the same time as Benavidez vs Plant. Will probably watch this after that. If Valle wins this one hopefully we can finally see her face Estrada next.

Seniesa Estrada fought on the same night and looked impressive. They should really consider putting Estrada vs Valle together this year because that’s a match made in heaven.

Haven't seen it and couldn't find videos of that fight but I know that Valle lost to her. I would think that Valle was still developing as a fighter. Estrada made it look easy when she beat Tina so it's easy to see why she's the favorite when she and Valle finally do fight. I'm confident that Valle can hold her own against Estrada though.
