I'd forgotten that Ugás had retired for two years after the Imam defeat. While he was away, Pac fought Algieri, Mayweather, and Bradley III.

Ugas has never really impressed me too much. Good fighter for sure but there's a huge gulf in talent between him and Manny. However, Manny is 42 y/o and is much smaller than him and if Manny has declined even more and Ugas has one of his best nights he could pull off the upset.

We got any Cubans able to explain the significance of Ugás' nickname? Always wondered.

    "54 Milagros".

I know they're votive candles used in prayer, but - what's special about the number fifty-four?

Ugas has a very bad injury to his left Bicep, go look at the weigh in pics its obvious once you see it. Obviously this kind of payday is once in a lifetime and he know if he tries to postpone due to an injured bicep the chance for that Pac fight paycheck will disappear forever.

True but he has more money than the average guy and probably doesn't mind spending it. Them Cubans in them Miami nightclubs be spending that money and are flashy.

    Nope, her (Filipino) replacement.

Continuing the "Arnel Pineda from Journey" tradition of a Pinoy much younger than all the rest of the band just randomly taking over as lead singer for a long-established iconic act.
