Vergil Ortiz Jr will win this one. I think most likely via stoppage. For win on cards it looks like 10% for me. Ortiz 80/ Ugas 20 ( Ugas is not that bad at all ).
Ugas won't be active enough. Although I thought he could have gotten the nod over Porter, his posing is what lost him the fight. I think he would get outworked by Ortiz.
Good question. Hell of a fight, and tough to call. Top notch spec vs world class, dangerous vet. Would be a good measuring stick for both.
If Ramos was more adept at actually connecting, he'd have stopped Ugas, he had him out of his feet twice. Vergil is excellent at landing on slick fighters, he detonates a straight right so brutal on Ugas' cranium that he dances The Savigne Boogie out of three different corners.
what people dont understand about vergil is the kid can fight any style he wants. if a fighter wants a chest match vergil has all the skills in the world to fight that way, if a fighter wants to brawl vergil can also brawl.
to me he reminds me of fernandeo vargas, but with way more talent. better faster, more explosive. best chicano talent to come out since mikey garcia.
