I think that Cuevas had a higher peak and Campas had a better career. If they are fighting just once I'll take Cuevas. If they have a five fight series I would go with Campas to win 3 of 5.

    Cuevas would murder Campas.

Prime for prime, I think Cuevas by stoppage is the most likely outcome

A guy who no punch ever missed vs. a guy with a wrecking ball of a bone-breaking left hook? Hmm.

Think I’ll go with Pipino here. Yori Boy soaks up punishment, lands a few of his own and runs into the left hook finisher in the third.

Yori Boy boxes Pipinos ears off and stops him to the body.

Hi Fogger, just wondering why you think Campas would have the edge in a series. What would he do better in subsequent fights?

Hi Jel, I think Cuevas was a one-dimensional slugger while Campas was a clever, intelligent fighter with power. Campas would figure out a way to deal with Cuevas and start earning decision victories.

If he gets past those hammers Cuevas had, "Marca Bosch" but Campas never went down afaik so he had an awesome chin, The only time he was close to was when Trinidad kod him and if it wasnt for the ropes, he'd clearly gone down...but he still didn't!

I see Campas fighting Cuevas the same way he fought Trinidad, that was
by staying in close ,pushing him back, not allowing him to get
    full leverage on his punches.
Initially that tactic would prove successful, just as it did with Trinidad.
Campas would crowd Cuevas early ,and would be able to land
effectively . Around the 5th rd, Cuevas would began to get the
room, and start landing his firepower , forcing Campas to
retreat. This would be a bad sign for Campas and the beginning
    of the end for him.
Around the 9th or 10thrd Cuevas coming from behind on the
scorecards would land one of those titanic hooks cleaning
stopping Campas for the full 10 count.

I don’t necessarily agree with you on this one, but always respect your opinion my friend.
