You all must have forgotten - James Nathaniel "Lights Out" Toney, boxing's worst best role model

    I don’t get this at all.
    He threw some big shots at Jones which a razor sharp, lightening quick Jones avoided with ease and then countered with huge interest.
    Toney earns no laurels for that display. He was humiliated.

    And Nunn aside (who RJJ was more talented than anyway) Toney had definitely not beaten anyone as remotely talented as Roy. Jones was a flat out better fighter than Toney which says a lot for how good Roy was.

    That said Toney (when he was on song) was a joy to watch. A remarkable fighter at his best. Just not as good as Roy.

    I also do know what you are talking. Toney was throughly outclassed that night.Do not know what fight you watched. But the fact is he was dead at the weigh in. An in shape Toney would have put up a more competitive fight for sure.

    If only he had the discipline, he could have been a Top 10 ATG. But he was too lazy. Still an ATG in my book though
