Fantastic video. He was one of the most naturally talented fighter to lace them, much like Roberto Duran. The man was just born to box. But, like Duran, Toney’s lack of discipline, work ethic, commitment to training, and also his tendency to overeating (and love of BK) became noticeable.

Still, he’s a proven ATG fighter. One has to wonder how much better he could have been if he had that Spartan mentality and work ethic like Bernard Hopkins. It’s amazing how far he was able to go with just sparring as his way of training for fights. His willingness to fight just about anyone and confidence in his own natural talents really shows that he was a throwback, old school fighter.

 

Nope will never forget, he’s my all-time favorite fighter I don’t see that changing
