You are being given 1 ticket to see any post war boxer fight, who's it going be? Who would you choose to go and see? Not specific fights just a particular boxer fighting.

*Consider all opponents of an equal high quality, and location irrelevant*

    Which war? World War 2?

Robinson fought before, during, and after it.

I'd want to see the consensus GOAT at or very close to his best, so maybe one of his WW fights in the late 40s.

Hagler...er.. Tyson er.. Hearns....er... choose one...

I think mine would be prime Tyson, but the trouble is, is that it may well be over very quickly.

Robinson for the obvious reasons, and then just the overwhelming reason that there is very little clear footage - or footage at all, of Robinson in his prime or just beyond it. I'd go back for some of his best fights and sit right there at ringside. Just to see.

Nobody wins anything, it's just a case of which boxer you personally would like to see. It could be a case that they were not the best boxer in the world but you liked a particular style. Perhaps you are just a fan - perhaps you like big punchers or defencive fighters - this isn't who is the greatest ever.

One of my best "boxing buddies" is an old guy in his 80's. He saw Robinson live many times. He once told me that if he could make any fight between any two fighters in history, he'd pit SRR against prime Haglar.

    Joe Louis vs Billy Conn.

I am old enough to remember SRR, many of his fights were on tv in the 50's, as were all the greats of that time: Floyd Patterson, Dick Tiger, Archie Moore and so many others.

If I had one ticket to one fight following WW2 it would be the Louis-Conn rematch.
