It would have to be Wills I suppose as the legitimate HW and most logical contender. Would do a lot for Dempseys legacy, more so than a Greb bout I think. That or maybe a neutral ref in the Tunney rematch:yep
Don King serves the full 80 year Second Degree murder charge (instead of being changed to just under 4 years for 'Non-negligent manslaughter') for his demonic stomping of Sam Garrett, and thus cannot get involved with Mike Tyson. From this I believe that Tyson will stay with trainer Kevin Rooney and there will be no '****' prison sentence.
I would like to go back in time with an HD camcorder and record old classics that were never filmed.(La-motta robinson 1-6, John L. Sullivan Fights, Jack Dempsey fights, pep-saddler 1-4, all of Muhammad Alis fights in the 60s, Benny Leonard, Sam Langford, All in color, all in HQ video. Or better yet, take larry merchant, emmanuel steward, Jim lampley, harold ledeman, Michael buffer, and a few HBO cameramen with me to have an HBO style broadcast to to have in HD. Lampley: "a barrage of punches by Dempsey and the down goes the giant Willard!!" I would also like to make certain spectacular upsets happen just for my pleasure(MAB pulling one last ass kicking out of his arse and upsetting Pacman in the rematch, RJJ becoming superman one last night to beat Joe Calzaghe, or B-hop being a few years younger to school joe on the art of boxing, for Iron mike to be kid Dinamite one more time to KO Lewis showing everyone what he once was in the mid-late 1980s:the baddest man on the planet.)Just a few examples, I cant think of anymore right now. One champ per division. Maybe 2. I would have Gave Julian Jackson an iron chin. PED Never have being invented(Or more importanly abused by athletes) I would also like to have Some young teenage 6'2 to 6'5 american heavyweights to turn pro right now to bring spice to the division. One wish??? So hard to pick, but since I love watching and analysing old fights, it would probably be the first one. I could also sell the footage for decent money.
Much as I love and admire the old time fighters, I hope that no man ever has to subject his body and brain, to what some of them did, ever again.
No More HBO announcers. Lampley is a lapdog and hyperbole addict, kellerman is just too uninformed on history and seems kind of cowed by fighters, Lewis is just plain boring and I have suffered thru Merchant and his witisisms since HBO began. Barry Thompkins was a lot better. I like Stewart though. But i just think Showetime is less biased and seem to be a lot more professional and knowledgable in a guy at a bar way. Also, no more Bob arum undercards.:rasta
Of course the 2 fights the oldtimers in the gyms in the 70's wantwed filmed were 2 they said were the best fights ever; the first 2 Zale-Graziano fights. Never filmed, and savage.:rasta
