if you were in hattons corner for the PBF fight what would your game plan be if there is one that could help him win.

get in close and dig those ribs, and repeat, when he starts losing some steam and his guard starts to drop, knock him out.

easier said than done, but i'm hoping

The usual - get in there, close distance quick and grab, wrestle and maul, then push off quickly and dig some quick rips into the body when no one is looking. Rinse. Repeat. Do that at frenetic pace for 12 rounds and it's anyone's fight.

Anything to take Mayweather out of his comfort zone.Pressure, fouls (commited discreetly), wrestling, pushing, everything he can get away with.Thats how Sandy Saddler beat Willie Pep 3 out of four.Pep had beaten several fighters that Saddler lost to.So Willie should have been able to beat Sandy right? No, because Saddler distracted Pep with roughhouse tactics, pissed him off, made him retaliate.Right there he had him.Could Hatton do the same to Floyd? I doubt it, but it is his only shot.

The hardest job might already be done.To make sure Mayweather doesn't have all the cards stacked in his favour. He had to concide the home advantage because Mayweather doesn't own a passport but getting DeLaHoya to promote increases Hattons chances dramatically, even if it is in Mayweathers hometown,I don't think the judges will automatically award a close decision to Mayweather as Hatton is now a know face in Vegas. They also have to get a ref who understands both guys fighting styles,Mayweather running and elbowing and Hatton hugging and punching and just let them get on with it and not stamping his own style on the fight. The easy bit for Hattons people is when the fight begins,as long as he is fully fully fit like he was against Tszyu then just unleash him at the start of rd1.I think Hatton will utilise his angles and body punching when Mayweather covers up,getting Mayweather on the ropes then coming in from the side and firing bodyshots in,something Hatton is great at doing.

Hatton is getting $10 million.. less than Floyd and considering how much money will be generated from this fight from gates/TV etc. Personally i think he should be getting much more(double). He brings more to the table than Floyd- plus 20,000 fight fans from UK are expected to come over

"Don't ****in' mess arand, Ricky! ****in' 'it 'im inna maff! Knock this wanker off 'is 'igh bloody 'orse and giv 'im a good ****in' smack inna ****in' chops!"

I believe that would be the correct vernacular for Hatton's corner.

get a biased ref, fly in with a headbutt that opens a huge gash, and hope the ref says it was caused by a punch
