    Kelly Pavlik has just pissed off Top Rank, Showtime, and his fans, and HBO is probably nervous of him as well.

    In a fit, Pavlik fires Cameron Dunkin and hires you to replace him as his manager.

    What is your strategy to get his career back on track?

    What I would do is get him a tuneup fight quick, possibly against a southpaw. Darryl Cunningham, for instance. Then that would set him up for a decent payday against Bute, where he can make good money relative to his current worth and it's a winnable fight...

    Get him a new trainer. Then, push to get him a fight with Librado Andrade - a big guy with next-to no defence and a come-forward style that should make him look good.

    If he comes through that ok, make a fight with Glen Johnson. He still has a name, a reputation and enough left in the tank (presumably) to make it interesting. He also has a style that should suit Pavlik.

    If he can't win these fights, then I really don't know where he can go. If he does, he'd be in a better bargaining position to fight someone like Bute or Kessler.
