You are not p4p #1 if you get dropped and almost stopped by an Uber driver

Almost stopped is a massive overstatement. Inoue didn't even seem hurt by it.

What an annoying post. Hope you're happy that half the forum is outraged by it and you got 8 pages of responses so far...

I am an Usyk fan and an Inoue fan because they earned it. Inoues opponent regardless of his background was simply very good in this fight. Applying logic arguments in boxing, be they transitive like 'A won against B and B against C so A will definitely win against C' or simply 'A's rating is lower than B's so B should not struggle against A' has never worked well in boxing. THANK GOD! How boring would it be.

Your spirit is the spirit of a Card Collector neatly sorting his cards by different criteria. And you're annoyed at the idea that other Card Collectors might have that Usyk card you love so much below that Inoue card. Now you found things to devalue Inoue. Congratulations.

This is not the way to get the most enjoyment out of boxing. If you actually watch the fights you can instantly see that Inoues opponent fought really well. Great balance and poise, solid defense, good timing and gameplan, really dangerous and quick hard left hook and he took Inoues shots well.

Inoues power seemed a bit lacking in the beginning, I noticed. But obviously that does not devalue his former opponents. By now we have seen enough good opponents of his to know what kind of power Inoue has. I think going up the weight classes makes it harder for him to simply knock his opponents around. But that makes his fights even more impressive.

Because I doubt that he would have struggled to just outbox cardenas. Or any of his last opponents. But unlike the less exciting fighters like haney he opts to throw all his finesse in timing and all his body mechanics into attacks that aim to stop his opponents. When those super defensive fighters get knocked down it is different from such a super aggressive fighter getting knocked down because he went too much on the offensive.

I really enjoyed this fight because Cardenas was so dangerous and it was such a strong showing of inoue, breaking him down after that knockdown and taking risks but while being VERY offensive still reacting like lightning to almost any punch of Cardenas.

And btw Buster Douglas also fought a great fight against Tyson but how many idiots used him just to devalue Tyson...

Be a fan of boxing and not only of a few fighters because they share your attributes or something. And don't argue with a certain outcome in mind but concentrate on what you enjoy and love about the sport. I hope it is not ratings, they should just be a reason and topic to start a conversation to communicate with other fans.

Please watch and enjoy the fights and when you get to your card collecting mindset than please use it to praise fighters, not make a logic-based case that they are worth less than people are giving credit.

Apart from YDKSAB, Inoue is fighting and engaging with much bigger fighters and then knocking them out. Go back to the tiktok boxing posting where people of similar boxing knowledge prowl.

Beterbiev has been knocked down. Canelo's greatest trait is his granite ped chin.
Golovkin just has a solid beard.
Usyk is defensively responsible and has a granite chin.
Chin is not the only boxing trait, just ask Thomas Hearns.

You dont see the hypocrisy in refuting his video of floyd getting knocked down in reality, because it didnt get called due to a blown call... then when he posts a video of him being officially kd, you refute it by saying its a blown call....

One is a real kd that youre refuting because the ref made a bad call and didnt count it as an official kd.

One is an official kd that youre refuting because it wasnt a kd in reality.

    .....

If someone wants to count in reality only, regardless of the call.... or if someone only wants to count officially, and not in reality. Either way, hes been kd.

I think you're stretching it a bit. I wonder how you will defend Inoue when he's knocked down again.

Is this what we do now, de-legitimise legends of the sport?

The OP should hang his head in shame for creating such an embarrassing thread.

You're not p4p #1 regardless, because its a fiction & doesn't really exist. Inoue is going down as an ATG. End of.

By this logic Pacquaio is a bum and should be removed from the hall of fame at once.

    Specifically regarding the knockdowns...........

Inoue's dominance and his resume is more thorough than Usyk's (who at HW at least didn't have a very difficult gauntlet because the division is quite weak), and Crawford's (great but pales in comparison). Also, lest we forget, Inoue snatched 8 belts in two divisions, became undisputed twice in only 13 months...............and those were his 3rd and 4th divisions conquered. Usyk is absolutely an ATG and there is no boxer (currently) on Earth that can beat him, he's the apex, and I like Crawford more but Inoue's resume is beyond reproach..............be ****in forreal

If he keeps winning and stopping opponents, then what's the issue?

Ali was floored by smaller guys.

Inoue has stopped the majority of his opponents in style, while winning many World titles in the process.

I thought winning 4 titles in multiple divisions was the big thing now?

Would prefer he went life and death with a skinny/fat cocaine addict who got beat up by a boxer making his debut? Or beat a bodybuilder who was smashed by a walking heart attack?

Would you rate inoue higher then?
Inoue is still young enough and has time on his side. He will have more titles and ranked wins than usyk. Granted they are not big names, because they aren't British hype machines, but he is creating a fantastic legacy for himself

P.s he is by far the most exciting of these guys. His mix of technical ability and power is amazing. Who cares if he gets floored every once in a while? Makes the fights exciting and he goes out to finish the job instead peddling away on his bike to eek out decisions vs big, slow bums

The disrespect that Inoue gets here is crazy. Some people are really mad he's been dominating and putting their favorite fighters to shame.
