Venue: Wembley Stadium, Summer 2009 Main Event: Pac vs JMM David Haye vs Wladimir Klitschko Marg vs PW Abraham vs Pavlik Kessler vs Froch
This event would include fighters from Europe, the U.S., South America and Asia (especially the country with the largest population- China). It offers the biggest boxing matchup and the most intriguing MMA match together. Plus a compelling world heavyweight boxing championship match as well as China's most popular combat sport fighter. Mayweather vs Pacquiao Anderson Silva vs Fedor Vitali Klitchko vs David Haye Cung Le vs Liu Hailong (Sanshou/Kung Fu championship) It should be in a stadium of 50,000+ PPV price would be $99 Date would be the last weekend of January, 2011 Plenty of time to save up and put together a party of watchers to share the cost.
This was a good thread. I would update it now: To market to an international audience I would include stars from the U.S., Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Mexico, Puerto Rico and especially China At Caesers Colesseum in Las Vegas: Wladimir Klitchko vs Deontay Wilder - Heavyweight Championship Tyson Fury vs Charles Martin Andy Ruiz vs Lucas Browne Undercard of undefeated Heavyweights and Cruiserweights Zhang Junlong vs Carlos Cotto Sonny "Bill" Williams vs Kimbo Slice Jordan Shimmell vs William Fernando Souza Bezerra Joseph Parker vs John Wesley Nofire Taishan Dong vs Sergio Ramirez Jeremiah Graziano vs Fabio Maldanado
Venue: Dallas Cowboys Stadium Price: $100 Mayweather - Pacquiao Undercard: Alvarez - Cotto Khan - Maidana 2 Provodnikov - Matthysse USA, Philippines, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Argentina, UK, Russia all in one. Seems impossible but I really like this card.
Pacquaio Vs Mayweather Cotto Vs. Alvarez Froch Vs. Chavez Jr. Kovalev Vs. Beterbiev Matthysse Vs. Maidana Golovkin Vs. Lemieux Stevens Vs. Kirkland Santa Cruz Vs Gradovich Rigondeaux Vs. Lomachenko
Golovkin is getting very popular, esp with the Mexican fans. I think he should have a fight or 2 in the southwest too, especially Texas, even Mexico. He'd have a meteoric rise in fame over there with that style of his, with fans getting memories of Chavez Sr. GGG could also test the waters at 168 vs Periban. Fan friendly fights would be a must here. Estadio Azteca Golovkin vs Periban Keith Thurman vs Sadam Ali Lucas Matthysse vs Adrian Broner DeMarco vs Molina II Chocolatito Gonzalez vs Gallo Estrada II Bandido Vargas vs Roman Martinez James Delarosa vs K9 Bundrage or Kirkland
Las Vegas Mayweather vs Andre Ward 158/160 lbs Marquez vs Porter Bradley vs Garcia Mikey Garcia vs Terrence Crawford PPV price $70
Prizefigter in featherweight: 1/4 Russel Jr - Gonzalez UD3 Walters - Selby KO2 Lomachenko - Donaire UD3 Mares - Gradovich SD3 1/2 Walters - Russel Jr TKO3 Lomachenko - Mares UD3 Final Lomachenko - Walters UD3
People need to read the criteria of the thread starter. How will you pay this list of fighters??? 100jmillion guarantee will have to be set aside just for Mayweather vs Pacquiao alone, then they would want upside.
The greatness of this card would have hundreds of investors willing to step up and help pay the bills.
Michigan Stadium (110 000 people): Vladimir Klitschko vs Tyson Fury Sergey Kovalev vs Adonis Stevenson Andre Ward vs James DeGale Gennady Golovkin vs Kid Chocolate Miguel Cotto vs Saul Alvarez Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Nicholas Walters Cheapest seats: 200 dollars People would flock to the event from every corner of the Earth. Three of the fights would end by early KO (Fury, Kovalev and Golovkin all score KOs probably), so the event would last about 5 hours.
Vegas Pac vs Mayweather Cotto vs Alvarez Kovalev vs Stevenson Bradley vs Maidana GGG vs Mayorga What do you think?
