100% agree. Take the win, grant the rematch and hope you REALLY win the second time around, then know one will remember the controversy. Like when Azumah Nelson was granted the gift draw after Fenech beat his ass. Azumah kept his mouth shut went to Australia and whooped Fenech badly. No one talks about the first fight anymore..../ Keith
Bradley won the fight and *******s are trying their hardest to discredit him and yes Bang Bang lampley and Lederman are both *******s also. :deal
:deal well said!! Tim shouldn't be blamed for the result. It's like when Tito beat Oscar. No one blamed Tito. Tim came to fight. gave it everything he had and got the decision... Why should he appologise? If i was Tim much as daprofessor has said I would remind everyone its not my job to judge a fight. remind people Pac has had highly questionable decisions before, remind everyone that I'm happy for the rematch when my feet are back at 100% and leave it at that... sure as **** wouldnt be giving the belts back!! If Pac doesn't want the rematch i'd use the new found bargaining power and popularity to get a fight to keep moving fight with Amir Kahn or someone else of note until Floyd has done his stretch then get straight into calling out Floyd letting everyone know I will take the tests!
To be honest: 1. I watched the fight half paying attention, half talking to people here. 2. I have not watched the fight a second time to score it. 3. I don't give a **** that Pac lost, but I always hate seeing a robbery (I'm not saying this was a robbery, like I said, have not scored it yet). 4. Bradley giving the belts back...here are my thoughts. - Admitting defeat and giving the belts back are not the same thing. - He COULD say that he feels he won BUT will step down to co-champion status IF he's guaranteed a rematch in his and Pac's next fights so he can prove he's the true champion..blah blah blah. - It would lock him into the most lucrative fight available, give him good publicity and shine some light on the shitty judging in the sport. - Yes, I agree that co-champion status is ****ing stupid, however its a one time thing.. and just to prove a point. - ...besides, sanctioning bodies have nothing to lose by letting it happen in this case or others. They are getting their fees regardless of the next opponent.
He should take the money, BUT KEEP HIS DAMN MOUTH SHUT. He's not winning any fans with all his post-fight comments.
Keep the belt. Keep his mouth shut. Bradley did nothing wrong, it was the judges. Bradley know he lost the fight, but he's acting really insecure right now with all the lame post fight comments. Be humble and wait for the rematch.
Think the best thing he could do is shut the hell up and just laugh at his new big bank account. And then just either fight the rematch or keep fighting the best out there. Not his fault he got a gigantic gift but no need to keep saying you deserved it. Not getting knocked out does not make you win a fight.
Bradley's two best options are to try to get a rematch with Pac or get a fight with Mayweather. If he can't get either one of those guys for the end of the year than he should defend his title later this year and try to get the Pac-JMM winner(if that fight happens) or Mayweather early next year. If he can't get Pac or Mayweather next he'd better better off fighting again and not waiting around until next year for one of those two. A unification bout with Randall Bailey or even a defense against Rios would both be good but very winnable fights to take if he can't get one of the big two next.
