Foreman was a big man, who had the ability to fight in spurts, and be big enough and strong enough to 'rest' during fights, and soak up the opponents attack.

Tyson doesn't have that. Nor the raw power of Foreman. Foremans punches were slooow, but ****ing heavy.

Tyson is under 6 feet tall, doesn't have a big reach, and relied on speed and explosiveness. That's not going to be there after 40, and he doesn't have the physical size to fight 'old'.

Someone like Lewis, who is 6'5 ish, and would weigh 250/260 now, with good reach and strength, would be more able to fight like an old fighter (limited movement, fighting in spurts, clinching etc) than a Tyson.

Coming back to avenge those meaningless losses would be more embarrassing than the original losses themselves.

    You know what -

I honestly might have been dreaming but I think I remember hearing that Antonio Tarver wanted to fight Heavyweight.

I think Tyson/Tarver at HW for a comeback fight for Tyson is not only a great fight, I think it would do good PPV.

As old as they are, I would pay $49.95 for that as long as the some pulses on the card along with it.

    Tarvers neck is like 9"

Tyson even at 44 would decapitate him.

After the Lewis fight, he shoulda fought some overweight cruiserweight type guys to shake the ring rust. Yeah Williams & McBride aren't great, but they are big guys & they should have eased him into fighting bigger guys.

Id fight him five or six times against guys on the level of Peter Mcneeley and the fifth or sixth guy should be on the level of Julius Francis, and he should have six fights in about a year. That way hes in the gym, and then start stepping it up. The blueprint that Foreman used was perfect for a comebacking old fighter.

He could not beat Danny Williams or Kevin McBride and he is 40 years old. He is finished. Why can't you people see this he was essentially finished way back in 1996 after Holyfield kicked his ass.
