You can choose 3 boxers, current and past, to help you in a bar fight, who do you take?

My two easy picks are Liston and Tyson. After that.. maybe Lyle? Fury?

Have you ever been hit by a fast bareknuckle jab? You don't need to be a brawler to be good in a bar fight lad

Don't think a jab's gonna cut it in the real world. You need more than that.

Given the ubiquitousness of security cameras in bars, I'm surprised neither side has posted videos of professional boxers in barfights.

I keep feeling the temptation to post a poll thread with options like, "I pick Sullivan, and I've had at least one barfight."

Name any argentinian. They at least have some strength if wresting comes to play.

I have a friend that was a regional Gold Gloves champion in the 1960s, had 7 pro fights as a welter. In the mid 90s he got into a squabble with a guy that was 4 inches taller and 60 pounds heavier, fresh out of the penitentiary, so he was in shape and accustomed to violence. My friend beat him to a pulp with a jab. I asked him why he didn't hit him with a right hand or a hook and he said "Because I would have knocked him dead. What would I do with the body?"
Honestly, a jab, if you know how to throw it and get your shoulder into it, will end most fights. Thrown enough, it will end them all.

Tyson, young Foreman, Ron Lyle, with Liston as an alternate. Valuev as a possible alternate too, just because his size would freak a lot of people out.
