Dunno Bryn just felt like having a rant mate :good.

  3. I watched the Primetime version and it wasn't even close, and I was ignoring the commentary as much as I could (ignoring Khan that is). I was convinced Marquez had it by 2 or 3 rounds easily. Marquez was convinced he had it, Pacquiao was convinced Marquez had it (see body language at the end of the fight), and the crowd were convinced that Marquez had it. It seems the only ones who thought Pacquiao had it was HBO and the judges. It would be interesting to see their version of the fight with commentary and scoring.

The only version I watched was the HBO one and I think I had it 117-111 to Marquez.

Commentary makes no impact on the way I see a fight.

HBO was super biased. They spent 30 seconds in one round talking about how amazing Pacs footwork was:-(
I had a few quid on JMM but I wasn't surprised he didn't get the nod. Lots of close rounds and I was a little disappointed JMM didn't initiate the action more as I thought he was more dominant when he did.

    :good It's all good.

  7. Thanks for that :good.

I'm not saying I scored the fight correctly and the judges and HBO didn't. Some of the rounds were close. This also happened in the previous two fights as I'm sure that you are aware and they have been debated and argued over for years, as I'm sure this one will be too.

In my mind Marquez won more rounds convincingly than Pacquiao did. I didn't do a scorecard but some fights you don't need to, you just know who's winning the fight. Maybe I just wanted Marquez to win, maybe I felt he deserved one win out of the three fights, I don't know, but I felt he won the fight convincingly and so did a lot of other people including the two fighters and the crowd.

The judges disagreed. You could make all sorts of insinuations as to why the judges gave the fight to Pacquiao. The financial implications of Pacquiao losing were massive. A Pacquiao victory is to everyone's benefit financially, the fighter, the promoters, the boxing organisations involved, HBO, the venue, the casinos, the bookmakers, everyone.

Of course that's just an insinuation that certain people would make sure that close rounds go to Pacquiao to ensure a victory. There's certainly no evidence to back up such a claim.

    Cant see it happening.

The Pac-JMM fight was the 1st time i was upset that i'd won money. I wanted JMM to win but could only see Pac decisioning him, so got to the end of the fight and thought "oh well, i lost my money but at least we've seen JMM win and put an end to the Pac-Floyd discussions finally"... then the results got announced. :fire

The only way i see Bradley winning is by a headbutt stoppage, otherwise i see Pac winning a less than entertaining decision. I dont believe all the 'he'll stop him inside 5' bullsh*t Roach & Co say, they said the same amount JMM & Mosley.

Can Bradley execute JMM's gameplan better than him.

    No.

    Pacquiao - UD/Late stoppage.

    Fighters like Bradley are Paq's B + B

Pac is getting underated because of the Marquez performance, some fighters just have difficulties with other fighters styles Pac will decision Bradley pretty comfortably

TBH Bradley may not even attempt to implement JMM's gameplan. He's got a good incline of what he needs to do.

I think there's not much of a middle ground in this debate. Got myself and others opting for Timmy then others going heavily on Pac.

I'm looking forward to this fight, for me Bradley does it! :happy.

I think retirement, i think Pac's lost the want for the sport. He's not looked good for a while. Lacking killer instinct although who knows he could come out fired up after knowing in his heart he lost to JMM. If he has lost the killer in him then he may as well jack it in. Roach has increasingly looked agitated and fed up with Pac's outside ring life.

Bradley's hungry for this moment, he's gonna be hard to beat.

As others have said, Bradley is not going to get a decision again Pacquiao, no matter how well he boxes.
