You can get 2/1 on Vargas to KO the Problem....

Oh well! I didn't really care about this fight anyway, didn't even watch it (tuned into the other Brooklyn card last night instead, the one promoted by Holyfield, and don't regret it) and had I ever gotten around to lumping a tiny sum on Vargas by KO, it wouldn't bother me one bit that Broner managed to survive (in a fight which it sounds like he did cop a lot of punishment, and received a gift draw for his troubles) because they call it gambling for a reason. There were rational arguments to be made for 2/1 seeming a decent value to lay a cheeky little punt on Vargas by KO, and I laid those arguments out. They're still valid & rational in hindsight. Not sure what your aim was in bumping this, but my response is:

 

Except I didn't make any declarative statements? I just stated what the odds were and explained why they might not be the worst.

 

Sorry, not going to happen. I really profoundly dislike both Vargas and Broner (they've received way too many gifts & opportunities in the sport, between them) and don't find the idea of sitting through watching two guys I don't care about for a full 12 rounds the least bit compelling, especially as it didn't exactly sound like a frontrunner as FOTY or anything.

 

No but he did hurt Bradley, who is at least as tough as Broner.
