You can NOT be P4P if you have only fought in 1 weight class

Not really. It was more like we all know that the best boxer in the world is: the heavyweight champ. But who would be the best if everyone weighed the same? Benny Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Carlos Monzon, Joe Louis, Khaosai Galaxy, etc were all p4p greats and ATGs too, even though they only fought at one weight.

I will add the caveat that I don't believe you should be ranked highly p4p if you are bigger than the guys you are beating up and only look good because you cut weight to bully the smaller fighters. I tend to think more of the guys who can give away weight, height, and reach to their opponents.

Let's put it this way. I don't think as highly of Tommy Hearns, Michael Spinks, Alexis Arguello, Sandy Saddler, Bob Foster, or Bernard Hopkins because they towered over their opponents and probably should have been fighting two or more weight classes up with people their own size. With the exception of Foster, they all climbed multiple weight classes, but they pretty much stopped climbing when they got to what would be a natural weight for a man their size.

Not all weight climbing performances are equally as impressive. Armstrong, Duran, and Mickey Walker looked like children fighting adults they gave away so much weight.

So, who should be P4P #1: Floyd or Manny?

It's obvious that you have no idea as to what P4P means.

P4P means if everyone was the same weight, that's how they'd fare.

p4p should be based on how many great fighters you have beat and how many divisions you have conquered
