You can not critize Wilder anymore for fighting weak opponents

HW division is weak and died this year.

Klitschko will retire after Joshua sparks him clean out
Haye got injured and looked very limited against Bellew even in first 4 rounds
    Povetkin is cheating disgrace

Ortiz barely speaks English and casual fans have no idea who he is = too much risk for LOW reward.

Whyte - overrated slow boxer who just lost against Chisora

Parker - Solid boxer but i do not think he is ready for Wilder or Joshua

Hughie Fury - He could upset Parker and take his belt away

So as you can see - THERE ARE NO GOOD BOXERS IN HW DIVISON .

Against who you wanna see Deontay Wilder?

Against who will Joshua defend his belt after he knocks Klitschko out? Because there are not good undeafeated guys at all.

You're wrong. Deontay's handlers systematically pick the low hanging fruits from Boxrec ranks #35 to 75. The excuse that "there are no good boxers left" does not apply. Deontay should fight guys from Boxrec #1 - #15.

There is some truth here, although the Op didn't frame it right. Wilder's resume, make no mistake about it, is pathetic. One top 10 fighter in nearly 40 pro bouts for an Olympian is trash.
However the division is entering a very weak period at the moment. You have Fury out may not ever return or even if he does probably will never be the same. You have Wlad at 41 years of age and having barely fought in 2 years and Povetkin on ice and nearly 38.
You take the top 3 fighters out of any division and the talent field will drop substantially. Yes it's debatable that those 3 are the best without mentioning Joshua. But still point remains the field is awfully weak right now. There is not a lot of separation from the top and the bottom 15. Question is will Wilder take advantage before a new wave of talent emerges in 2-3 years?

There are a lot of good prospects in the HW Division like Dubois and Hrgovic.
And there a lot of good Cruiserweights like Gassiev and Usyk , they could move up soon.
And there fighters like Andy Ruiz jr who would be a good contender , if he steps up his physical condition.

Joseph Parker is still young and has great talent.
Anthony Joshua is looking really good so far.

The Heavyweight Division has a lot of potential in the next years, actually.

Op is a bonehead and sounds like he's defending Wilder.

At this point, I want Wilder to get knocked out from a cherry pick gone wrong.

I love how Ortiz not being able to speak English translates into him being no good.

Exactly. Wilder's whole career is a FRAUD. Both his ability to take a punch and his supposed power are the product of facing 3rd, 4th and 5th rate opponents for 9 years. And even a few of these types have either had him on the canvas or wobbled.

but didnt ortiz just sign with haymon? wouldnt ortiz/wilder be an interesting fight that uncle al could make at some point soon? or do most feel that al has other plans with ortiz?

There is only one fight that matters in the hvw division. Wilder/Joshua. Wlad is old and Fury is a big pile of ****. Who else is here to watch?

Any of the hundreds of guys left that are not from the morgue, public transportation services and that don't spend the majority of their days hanging from ceilings with chains attached to them. That'll do!

Soundscape like a bunch of lame excuses why Wilder has avoided all of the top fighters to me...
