you cant let this fight make you forget how great jones and hopkins once were. this was just a bull**** for these guys to make as much as they could out of their name. but anybody with any sort of boxing knowledge, knew this fight was going to be terrible. what can you expect from a 45 yr old and 41 year old, and jones has been shot for years. this was two old men milking their names for all its worth nothing else. if you want to remember these two guys, remember hopkins dominating trinidad or jones dominating toney. not this crap.
I understand that but it was the way in which Hopkins conducted himself that gets me. RJJ came out of it fine in my eyes. Shot to bits but with a lot more credit than X.
you got a point. hopkins was always a guy who would bend the rules but it seems as he s gotten older, hes gotten more dirty to compensate.
