For the people who thought Floyd whipped PAC, you musta had Lara whipping Canelo right? Lara landed and did way more to Canelo then Floyd did to PAC and PAC had more success in landing punches on Floyd the Canelo landed on Lara.

    I had mayweather winning 7-5
    Had Lara 8-4

There is noway anyone who had Floyd whipping PAC could have Canelo winning unless your unsure about what your watching and just purely listen to the announcers.

I think I had both 7-5 to Mayweather and Lara respectively. I just think Lara was in the position where he needed to impress more and he didn't do that.

I guess it's not enough these days to Outland and outclass your opponent in nearly every round. I can always tell how they are gonna score a fight by the way it's being announced.

Yes I thought Lara beat Canelo, Canelo put up far more than Pac did against Floyd however. Fight was closer.

    2 totally different fights.

I had Mayweather winning 117-111, and I gave Pac all the close rds. If you let Floyd out land and out throw you (him out throwing Pac was shocking), and you dont score KD's or a KO, you will lose widely.

Lara could have done more in the later rds, but I had him edging Canelo. When Canelo landed and moved forward, he had success. Pac's success was limited to a few rds, and that was that.

Yes, I thought Lara beat Canelo (AS clearly as Mayweather beat Pacquiao, if not more)

Mayweather almost doubled Pacquiao in landed punches and punches thrown, dude also was always in range for Manny and landed the telling blows from the outset.

Lara and Canelo landed basically the same amount of punches at the same percentage only one just threw all jabs and the other power shots.

    I though Mayweather-Pacquiao was 10-2 Floyd, and Alvarez-Lara 7-5 Alvarez.

Dispite the runner rep Floyd actually landed meaningful blows on Manny and barely took a thing in return.

In the other bout every meaningful shot was landed by Alvarez rds 6,7,8,& 9 were all swept by Alvarez on my card. And for the second half of the fight Lara was reduced to just backing away.

I don't see why people always try to make the Floyd Lara comparasion, Lara is purely an out boxer who's entire goal is to stay as far away as possible. Mayweather fight's at all ranges I think the Pac fight was the lowest landed shots of his career at 130 or so Lara didn't even land 100 punches in 12 rds vs Alvarez.

No I had Mayweather 8-4 debatably 7-5 over Pac, and Canelo7-5 over Lara.

How? Chasing a guy and landing intermittently with lunging body shots doesn't triumph over moving & countering with clean pot shot jabs and left hand leads.

Canelo was the dictionary inset-pic of ineffective aggression that night.

There were a lot of close rounds that could have gone either way. I trended towards giving the close rounds to Canelo due to his aggression and Lara's flat out running towards the end of the fight.:conf
