Still waiting for someone to produce evidence of chin improvement. Give me 5 fighters even since say 1960.

Did I not just say Pac's early KD can be from being weight drained? I'm sure he has been hit harder from better boxers (Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Cotto, etc).

Wasn't Armstrong' s first recorded pro fight was a KO at featherweight? He did not lose via TKO/KO until 130 fights later (he did lose several times by decision).

I mean this is just conjecture on my part since I would actually would have needed to measure the CSF. But it does not change the science. I can't you are actually contesting science.

Trained chin? Did you read even what I wrote?
I said you can train things relating to getting hit and not increasing your brains ability to absorb getting smacked inside your skull.

    LOL.
I love how you contest science then use 'genetics' to defend yourself.

You are like a person from the Middle Ages that was just told the Earth is not flat. You disagree but turnaround and use a sun dial.

I think the people who voted yes are probably thinking that you can improve on it slightly with certain exercises. I don't think anyone can deny that but you pretty much are born with the chin you have. So i voted no.

It seems like guys who have small heads when compared to their bodies have weaker chins (Judah, RJJ, JT) while guys who have big heads when compared to their bodies seem to take a punch better (Margarito, Andrade, Baldomir). That's genetics.

Also, training your chin should exclude improved technique because all fighters improve the more they fight. That doesn't mean that he can take a punch better. It just means that he has improved his craft and is less likely to come in attacking all exposed, tucks his chin, keeps his hands up, is in better position to take a punch, etc.

you really need a doctor who understands thoroughly the specifics surrounding anatomy and physiology to come to an accurate conclusion regarding whether you can train a chin or not, literally. everything else is pure speculation. you're talking the medical field right now.

Excellent post. Amir Khan has to actually TAKE flush shot from Maidana to show how much his chin has improved. Beating Maidana without taking any bomb DOES NOT certify his chin.

Right. It would just mean that he has improved his craft since his KO loss and fights a much smarter fight.
