Did you see how much leverage Nistor (a huge puncher) got on that first left hook? Surprised AJ was still standing. That was in 2011 where AJ had well under 20 amateur fights. Nistor remains a killer in the ring at the highest level.
While Joshua is a huge man, his neck and head to be are a bit small for a man of his stature. Does anyone have his tale of the tape neck measurements? You can straight your neck a bit. From my observations, the thick fire-hydrant-like necks take better punches than the modelesque thinner and longer necks. The neck essentially is a shock absorber for the head, and the knockout punch happens when the brain is shook inside the head.
Lol , we have the most clueless kids on this site, those were massive shots and Aj was STILL standing and wanting to continue. Let me ask a serious question, do you trolls know what head gear is used for ??? it's not something magic that somehow reduces the impact from shots . Until you meat heads learn the first thing about what is the make up of a bad and good chin you really should stfu. I must had missed the century one came out with the magic, soft and shot absorbing special nerve protecting head gear. I feel lIke this site is strictly for trolls now , WTF happened here
-He was never down besides taking those huge shots. -He was a really inexperienced amateur fighting one of the best fighters in the division and one of the hardest punchers in amateur boxing. -Muhammad Ali, Tyson, Bowe, all were stopped in the amateurs.
It's called fighting 18 punchbags who don't punch back. Whyte being the obvious exception when he nearly put him over.
