Sorry I see Pac losing to Floyd...Ive always said "the 2 men I believe has a very good chance of beating Floyd was Paul Williams and "Sugar shane Mosley

Im not saying that they WILL beat PBF...But Shane Mosley def has a great chance of beating Floyd, that fight could go either way

Oh god, you're one of those posters who presents opinion as fact aren't you? This will no doubt being irritating but anyhow, Manny Pacquiao would get the same treatment as Marquez in my estimation. He's also too small, and too open for the precise counterpunching style of Mayweather. Mosley, in contrast, still has a lot more handspeed than 147lbs Marquez does, and is bigger and stronger - the last two points are indisputable. He'd be more of a challenge than Marquez therefore you should be wanting the fight.

At 146lbs, Mosley has much better handspeed than what Marquez displayed last night.

A better question. If Floyd fighting a blown up Featherweight is perfectly acceptable in the mind of you and the pretty boy gang, then why wouldn't a match-up with Mosley be equally as acceptable. He poses more problems, and it's all about taking on bigger and bigger challenges in this sport. Finding a bigger challenge than a blown up Featherweight won't be hard for Floyd, but I want to see him fight a legitimate Welterweight with handspeed and power. Shane Mosley.

Let's hope Floyd takes the fights and proves you right...isn't that really all that matters??

He's got granite chin, the right body attacks and can put on relentless pressure if needed be.

I'd say he's got a more than fair chance to beat Floyd.

I want to see FMJ fight MP (if/when) he gets by Cotto. Pac has only one fight left after Cotto before he goes on to politics. I want to see these two gifted fighters settle once and for all who the P4P king really is. As everyone says, beat the best to be the best.:bbb

If Floyd keeps avoiding him then Mosley definitely won't have a chance. If they were to square off Mosley definitely has a puncher's chance. Floyd has excellent defense but, Mosley should be able to land something and hurt him.

i think mosley has a better chance than pac, but neither guy is going to beat floyd. i just want to see mayweather get in there with mosley because mosley knows floyd can't hurt him and he would actually make it a fight from the opening bell. i think the fans would actually get a fight out of that one.

So now Cotto is "glass-chinned" for getting knocked out by what most would presume were loaded gloves? You are a worthless poster and attack anyone that even remotely says anything negative regarding Floyd. It's pathetic that I'm starting to hate Floyd for the same reasons I'm getting tired of Pac... All the sack-swinging fanboys.

Think you're big shot know it all huh? So how much money you got on Pacquiao yo? lol i'll remember you dude come November 15th.

By the way, I agree that Mosley can't beat Mayweather, may not even be a close match.

Shane would put up a good fight but would not win. His excessive holding would fall into Floyd's style. Floyd would use that elbow and shoulder roll to twist Shane around.
Also, people write about Floyd picking on smaller fighters. Forgetting to mention he only fought two smaller fighters and this is nothing new in boxing.

    Ali-Bob Foster
    Holmes-Spinks
    Oscar-Mosley
    Oscar-Chavez
    Hagler-Leonard
    Hagler -Duran
    Hagler -Hearns

heres why i give shane a chance

    1. he out reaches mayweather

    2. he punches very hard

    3. hes still pretty damn fast

    4. he puts his punches together very well

    5. hes in very good shape for his age

    6. floyd cant hurt him

    7. hes stronger than floyd

In the end its up to shane to make these count but i give him more than a slight chance of being able to beat floyd

because 95% of the people on this site are idiots and biased i will give you the likely scenario for this fight.......mayweather wins a decision probably 9-3 with shane looking a little passed it and you leave wondering what would have happened if these two met prime for prime because it would have been awesome. the next day you would come to this foolish website looking at what others thought instantly regretting it as excuses and idiocy are thrown around everywhere. floyd isnt "afraid" of mosley but i dont think this fight will happen. its too bad too. now all of you morons can continue to be biased and have a good day. (ps counting mosley completely out is foolish, u can count on him giving the fight his all and he does have speed and power who can beat anyone on the right night)

Blown up featherweight. So what is Floyd? A blown up superfeather. What was Duran a blown up lightweight?

**** lets not even get into that idiocy by the Mayweather haters.

Look, nobody is saying that Mosley is not a credible opponent dope. Im saying that he would be easy work for Floyd. He's not that much bigger then Floyd. He's not that much stronger. And he's not a great boxer, doesnt have a great jab, and cant fight from side to side. What did Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright do to Mosley even in his prime? He cant fight boxers with good jabs and D. Thats Mosleys weakness. Lets not even get into his stamina and defensive issues that he showed against both Mayorga and Cotto. :patsch

You see why my opinions are right? Because I can analyze boxing properly. You cant.

The only fighter on the planet that can beat floyd in his weight clases are Pac and WIlliams. ANd only Pac looks like he'll be fighting at welter.
