A complete fighter is a fighter who has solid fundamentals, can fight from the outside, on the inside, can counterpunch, has a variety of punches, goes to the body, has good defensive skills, and has heart and toughness.

Mijares fits all of that. Several fighters in boxing do.

Being smart mentally outside the ring doesn't determine a fighters worth inside of the ring. Many of the best fighters have been dumb as a rock, while many smart fighters have gone on to have less than stellar careers.

Please don't compare him to Sugar Ray Leonard.

Leonard was proving his talent, intelligence, and skills against Roberto Duran, Marvin Hagler, Thomas Hearns, and Wilfred Benitez.

Donaire has proved his talent, intelligence, and skills against Vic Darchinyan, Luis Maldonado, Oscar Andrade, and Kahren Harutyunyan.

    Massive difference...

If you want to see a Complete fighter, watch my boy AJ Banal. That 18yr old is the most complete prospect I've ever seen.

I will take a 1 month off bet

...and even if you do win the bet eventually, it will not validate your statement that Mijares is not a complete fighter. It would just validate your statement that Donaire would win.

He's a very good fighter, but too early to tell whether or not he will go far.

In terms of being a prospect, I rate Gamboa as the best. In my opinion, Banal is another Bautista disaster waiting to happen, has shown many good qualities but just seems to have the type of technical flaws and aura about him that leads to a disasterous KO loss.

But it's no coincidence to see PacDbest hyping a Phillipino fighter and degrading down a Mexican fighter.:yep

Nonito is already a World Champion, I guess his smart already showed in the ring with that couple of great fights with Darch & Maldo.

Well, donaire's not gonna fight Duran, hagler or hearns either. He's just gonna use that smart against Mijares & Arce, I guess the same league as Dachinyan & Maldo.:yep

They said the same with Nonito. Me & ESboxer is the only one who pick Nonito over Dachinyan. Where were you during that time??? Are you drinking San Miguel with underdog & thinking Nonito is just being fed to as Darchinyan's sacrificial lamb?????:yep
