You don't have to like him, but Superpimp's got the best straight left in the game

One dimensional offense? When your one dimension is that good, chances are it's the guy you're facing who's got the problem. Even an old version of him is a damn dangerous proposition at 175.

Yeah the left cross is a good punch... No ones ever denied that.

It's a shame he never challenged himself because he would have a chance against Ward, Kovalev or Beterbiev. When you cut out the BS, Stevenson is one of the most exciting fighters around but he never built on the brilliant 2013 he had. It's a shame because I think he is very good.

One of the best punches in the game. He's still ****. Ward/Kovalev beat him. I think even some other guys could cause him huge problems that aren't tier 1.

he's over-reliant on that straight left, which will be his downfall should he ever decide to fight a legit threat, I'm guessing that's why he never fought someone smart and crafty like Hopkins or Ward

I told you this ages ago and you didn't want to hear it.

If light weight hitter Chilemba can snap Krusher head back with pitter patter straight left jabs - Stevenson takes it clean off his shoulders .

And Krusher is over reliant on his 1-2. Its all he has.

Stevenson showed off some good infighting skills last night. He's good on the outside and the inside.

He disguises and sets it up well. You know it's what he's looking for, and he still finds a way to land it against anyone he fights.

No one denies that a straight left would have kovalev out of there, but stevenson is weaker in the mandible, gasses much easier and is less of a boxer.

Hopkins would have beaten him if they had ever fought, like you say I think that's why the fight never happened.

If I did, it's probably because it was you saying it. I don't recall ever doubting the quality of the punch though.
