Kovelev has the jab to the body, 1-2, left hook, lead right

much better ****nal than Stevenson

 

He holds his right hand low and jabs from the waist. It takes way too long for him to pull his hand back up to defend against incoming punches. He also pulls straight back like Kahn, which leaves an opening for a straight right.

He can get away with it more when he was younger, but as his reflexes wane, those bad habits are hurting him more and more.

Who knows if Krusher would have gotten up after the first KD. His chin is an unknown quantity. It was said to be shaky in the past.

* Stevenson called out Ward non stop when he was 168 (Ward) , Ward didnt want it , lets see if he takes it @175.
* Stevenson and Kovalev had a bidding scheduled for their fight asked by Kovalev team , team Kovalev walked away.
So to me you guys who are dissing him non stop about testing himself should cut him some slack , also its way easier to make Ward vs Kovalev due to HBO stable.
I wish he gets in the ring with the winner of that fight but it wont happen probably..... sad.
