Kovalev ain't got no uppercut or hooks to the body. Stevenson does and used them to brutal effect last night.

Krusher may be better on the outside but he has zero head movement and is wide open to Supamans best punch.

When they come together Kovalev will be needed the wheel house and he won't have it but Donis will.

Everybody needs CQC skills. The Wlad fanboi's said for years that he never needed CQC . Look where that got him against the Fury

 

**** sloppy as **** stevenson would get mutilated against kovalev.

 

stevenson is just sloppy and there to be hit, so open loading up the loopy uppercuts and so on, a straight puncher with the power of kovalev would make it easy work. kovalev has underated footwork, stevenson upperbody movement was good and hes faster but he let that all go and he gets clipped hard.

 

put it this way dino, kovalev hasnt gone to war yet, because hes a better boxer than stevenson. pascal gave him a bit of trouble and thats abit it. stevenson gets dragged into it too much for my liking which is highlights his lack of intelligence, not his athleticism or firepower.

I do think if anyone were to beat Kovalev it would adonis though..

 

Yeah but Kovalev is a burst boxer. He really only ups the tempo during the last minute of every round so i don't see him dragging Donis anywhere.
Kovalev likes to box and its hard to read and time an unpredictable guy like Stevenson.
Tbh I don't believe either guy easily beats the other. Its a genuine 50/50 for me.

 

I can't wait to see Joe Smith Jnr again,after what he did to Fonfara I was a fan,that was a massive upset,I wonder if Stevenson and Smith could happen?
