I understand these guys want to get paid, but it's becoming a joke. The problem is these guys are not making any attempts to even make the fight happen. They are just hoping they are picked. First, they need to go to 147. Draws like Pac/Mayweather are not going to move up or down in weight for anyone. They only did it for Oscar, who was a bigger draw than them at the time. When a guy like Martinez says he will drain himself to 150lb, no serious boxing fan can take him seriously until he proves himself at that weight. At the moment, I envision a guy fighting for paycheck who will show up drained, getting his ass beat like Chris Bryd did at 175. Why doesn't Sergio work his way down than? Why doesn't Guerrero jump to 147 now? Ortiz went to their weight class & was in the mix after one fight of beating Berto. All these guys want to fight them without going to their weightclass

I don't understand Martinez either. He knows there isn't much going on at 160 but refuses to move down to 154 to take some names. He should prove he can fight at 154 before AZZking small welters to take him on at 154.

I agree with the others. Not so much Martinez. Yeah he wants the big payday, he's getting old, not much time left etc, but he's p4p no.3, it's possible fights could be made with May/Pac, so he's rightfully going for them.

I would like to see him fight a few fighters around his weightclass, Pirog etc.

Talking about fighters doing the calling out.
Martinez should be fighting Pirog, Proksa, Geale, Golovkin, Guerrero should be fighting Rios or Marquez, Bradley should be fighting Khan. Those fights will probably never happen because they're all waiting for Pac and Mayweather.
