IMO Floyd Mayweather has it perfect.

We have created the one guy to beat floyd Mayweather to be Manny Pacquiao. So when Floyd eventually beats (potentially quite easiy) Everyone will be calling hm one of the GOAT.

But the fact is Manny is not the fighter to beat Floyd. Manny beat fighters by being aggressive attacking explosive fighter on people that are smaller than him. But he is unable to do that to bigger People.

He has very good boxing skills against bigger more imited guys. Even ones with great boxing skills like Cotto. But against someone with great boxing skills like Marquez he struggles.

Now Manny is rightfully an ATG, And I rank him similar to floyd.

however he is not the person to beat Floyd. He won't be ble to walk him down as he is the smaller guy in the ring and he can't cut the ring off. And he also won't be able to outbox Mayweather either. SO I do struggle to see what chance he has.

Mayweather has it perfect. Because he will beat this ATG in Manny and could go down in the history books as one of the GOAT.
There are many styes in the history of boxers who could have beaten floyd. By either being a bigger intelligent pressure fighter. Or by being a superior longer range boxer like a hearns or leonard.

Manny is neither of these, and he is going to make Mayweather look Spectaculr.

He's got tools to give Floyd a few issues, but that's about it.

But, stranger things have happened in boxing. So who knows.

If Floyd does beat Manny the media will just find someone else to plague him with.

People will be calling for him to fight Sergio Martinez.

Look at how many people have been calling him out since he has announced he is going to fight in 2012. Guerro, Khan, Morales, Canelo, Martinez, Bradley

The media will find someone who can beat Floyd in a fantasy match up.

Hold the **** up. Isn't floyd nightmare southpaws, isn't floyd nightmare speedy powerful punchers, hasn't floyd got a suspect chin and when pac lands it's lights out, isn't floyd defence useless against someone like pac. Isn't floyd pot shotting style not enough to win a fight against pac.

What happened to all of this?:rofl

Now it floyd should dominate pac, well in that case you are already admitting floyd is the better fighter of the two if you think that.:nut

Mayweather missed his chance to guarantee himself a top ten maybe even top 5 ATG ranking when he let the Marquez 3 fight happen before he got his hands on Pacquiao.

A win for Mayweather now over Pacquiao does very little for his legacy.

    Not true, at all.

Yes, beating Pac right after his amazing run (up until Marg) would have looked far more impressive. But to say it'll do very little? :verysad

That's not true, there are still to many people riding the pac wave saying pac won that fight with marquez because they are in denial. If mayweather clearly wins that fight without a shadow of a doubt then it will do wonders for his legacy especially considering he has already beat marquez to.

Beating Manny will send his Legacy in to GOAT levels. Trust me.

And i'm saying that he's fortunate as Manny is an ATG that he should beat, who has been buit up as a challenge, but really doesnt have the tools to beat floyd. (I don't think)

And to answer previous posts. I believe he has avoided Manny because he beieved what we all believed (that he would beat mayweather) However the Marquez fight showed to me that he is not improved and he will be destroyed by Money May.

Mayweathers greatest tools are his referee.....yeah, the elbows, the ducking below the waste and punching out of a break. A NEUTRAL ref wouldn't allow those 3 killer attacks, and Arum will guarantee the ref is looking for those things.

If Manny should have to fight fair by being tersted for every supplement on the planet, then Floyd will have to actually fight fair, and he'll be KTFO.

And BTW.....Ortiz was beginning to cut the ring off vs Floyd when he pulled his knucklehead move.:-(

Why would I feel bad for Pacman?

Last time, he got to take home $22M.

And if the fight pushes through, he'll get to take home more than that.
