Becuase 10 miles per day for a boxer is suicide, I am sorry I have been at that gym, and they have told me from day one, DO NOT RUN MORE THAN 5 per day...
I am thinking Manny probably said he ran 10K per day, which is about 6 miles. But I highley doubt that he runs 10 per day, that is too much...

He probably doesn't run that much everyday. Ariza likes to change up the roadwork in training. He probably has Manny doing more sprints and other HIIT midway-end of training

You know... the thing about most boxers is that they have **** for stamina.

Depends on how long he does the 10. Maybe what 'they' said works for them. NOw all train exactly the same way. That said, 10K is more realistic.

Sure they do, but its not all cus they aint running enough, some of it is what it is some dont do the right drills in the gym, or some dont eat right, beleive me what you eat makes a big difference to...

There is no way its 10 miles, especially if he is moving up in weight, there is no way its ten miles....

Bazooka, it all makes a difference but what we know for a fact about Manny is his conditioning and stamina. PPL ask wtf how can he fight like that for 12 rounds... duh he runs his ass off everyday. Then they say no way he can't run that much. Rinse repeat, how can the mother****er fight like that for 12 rounds, he must be on DOPE and...

Good points. People question how he can do what he does for 12 rounds, then question his training habits. Rather odd.

There are fighters who could fight like that, if you want proof watch Holyfield vs Qawi fight 1 that was 15 rounds of war with I think a combined 1500 punches thrown.

Again ten miles a day if anything would not allow Manny to add the extra weight, and it would burn him out, But what do I know, I have only trained in the same gym as him:think

Maybe you shouldn't act as if you know the 100% undeniable truth. Because the only thing 100% undeniabnle is, you DON'T know what goes on in their training just because you've been in their gym.

BTW, you HAVE seen what Manny supposedly eats per day in terms of caloric intake right?

I am sure Caneman has followed him to where he eats ask him... I am saying from my view, from what I know when it comes down to training in the gym, that 10 miles per day is over kill, your legs will cramp, you wont be able to give 100% to your other routines etc....
That would be what you call over training, and beleive it or not, resting your body is just as important...
But then again some of you if not all would beleive that Manny eats bullets walks on water and shits ice cream if he said he did...

I think Manny at some point in training runs up to 10 miles or 10K a day, but he obviously doesn't do that every day of the year. The people who believe that are dumb. He has to wrok his way up to that amount in the beginning of camp and I know he sure doesn't run every day in between fights.

Also remember during the Margarito training camp that he would skip running in the morning sometimes because he played basketball the day before

Look, I'm, not saying you are wrong, nor are you telling me anything new. But Manny is a different animal then most boxers.

What I'm saying is, what manny does, or what you think he does or doesn't, is simply your opinion. Nothing more. SO you and others cannot say he does that or doesn't. Simple as that. A little humility never hurts anyone.

FFS, i cant believe this thread is still going. If a guy with 2 Heart Attacks in his past and an existing back condition (narrowing of the arteries in my back) can jog 5 kms a day on a treadmill, im damn certain an elite athlete like Manny Pacquiao can jog 10 miles a day. He probably jogs to the gym every morning to actually train, as in his jog is most likely more of a warm-up. Like i said before, he doesnt SPRINT 10 miles. Im sure the TS masturbates the equivalent of a marathon a day.

I am saying that from what I know, it would be very hard beleiving that Manny runs 10 miles everyday and is still able to perform like that in the ring, again its a matter of him over doing it, and something would have to give becuase the body sooner or later will tell you to go **** yourself....
