    haile's record is 44:24.

10 miles is a little high i think but it is not impossible for a human body as the OP is suggesting. if i would do nothing in my life and not work and i would just run eat and sleep, i can run 10 miles everyday for 8 weeks with no problem and i am not exactly physically fit.

we don't know the exact figure on how much pac runs everyday but it's not impossible for an elite athlete of pac's level to have this mileage for his cardio workout.

You do realise people run distances at different times right?

Anybody could run ten miles if they took 2 hours to do it for instance, it's pretty clear you are the idiot. He didn't say his wife was running world record pace.

Obviously "every day" is a loose term. Wouldnt be surprised if he does do long 10mile runs 2-3 times a week, with the rest being around 6 miles. Its a 30second advert, he cant exactly say "I usually run 6miles a day but every other day I do 10 miles but I may have a rest day once a week so technically its not 10 miles EVERY day".

Most boxers claim to do 6-7 miles a day anyways and their much bigger(more weight to carry).

I agree with the thread starter, i mean to just run 10 miles a day on its own is not that big of a deal, that is around the mileage an elite long distance runner will be running a day to prepare for a race.

The reason i personally dont believe it, is he's gonna be doing that in addition to 2,000 sit ups, boxing workout, and sparring. Throw all that in there with the fact that he's all natural and doesnt overtrain?!?

And he's not just running, hes running at around a world record pace every day... lol

who says he runs at world record pace? more likely he can do around 14-16 km/hr pace. and there's a difference between world class boxers and bums like you. you can run 5km and be tired and will just sleep all day. boxers do it for a living. and pacquiao is no ordinary boxer, he is an elite.

An elite boxer who weighs 147lb renound for his stamina and explosive legs. He probably runs very good times, not elite runner but would definitely match up with club runners. Besides, dont think Pac has every claimed to be running at anywhere near record pace. If anything hes probably going at around 8min/pm pace. He runs with a national level runner to set the pace for him. Actually heres vid:

Not much info on pace and mileage though.

    exactly
as a guy that has run marathons (26.2 miles), half marathons (13.1 miles),
anyone who think you can run 10 miles a day is an idiot....you will (if you could) do more damage to your body than good for your cardio....your legs, feet, joints, everything would ****ing hurt daily after doing this for a week, much less every day......and you wouldnt feel like doing anything else the rest of the day, you know..like sparring, hitting bags, mitts, 2000 sit ups....man people are stupid

an elite runner can run from 19km/hr to 21 or even 22km/hr. 14 to 16 km/hr is doable for an elite boxer like pacquiao. and why is it impossible for an elite boxer to run, then have heavy training afterwards? we are talking here of pacquiao and not some fat-ass club fighter.

Due respect, completing a marathon doesn't make you an athlete. Plenty of people do it without too much risk of injury, it's all to do with the type of mileing you are doing.

As I've said he probably doesn't every day, and it wouldn't be the best for him if he did, but people can do it.

and that's the difference between you (us) and an elite level boxer like pacquiao. actually if you will compare pacquiao to other elite boxers like for example cotto, arum had said that cotto 's training looks like he was just playing compared to pac.

and yes i also ran a half-marathon maybe around 5 times while running four or five times a week before and i could actually do more things afterwards if i attained a certain level of fitness so i know that it's actually doable especially for an "elite class" boxer of pacquiao's level.

only going by what the thread started said, "EVERYDAY" . and then the people bash the guy saying he does.
any cardio guy would tell you, running a flat 10 miles a day does you no good if you could do it....you have 5 days a week you would run, 2 off days, and you would have long run days and short mileage days that you would run for time/speed.
how do you think anyones body would feel after day 17 of running 10 miles a day? it would be so sore that if you were to try and spar, you wouldmt be floating like a bee....you would be flat footed and immobile ,
does a body builder tell you the best way to get big is to bench press the same weight every day, no matter what? you have to give the body time to heal ...the muscles break down and and have to build back....that goes hand in hand with running..if you never had a rest or moderated it, you would be dead leg city
