I mean he lasted the distance, but he only won 1 maybe 2 rounds in my book. What was he landing? Just because he landed a punch on Fury, doesn't mean that he won rounds. Imo Fury tried everything to get up for a fight against an unknown and at times looked off balance probably because of the southpaw stance, but Wallin wasn't landing a lot. Fury wasn't moving to his left. Fury didn't land the jab early in the fight like he wanted to. He landed it but not consistently. He was moving around too much, but he landed more than Wallin. Once Fury turned it up a notch after the cut, it was over. Wallin gets credit for cutting Fury, taking everything Fury threw, and landing a good left in the 12th, but that's about it. Getting the W in the end is all that counts. People seemed to be waiting for a bad performance from Fury. This wasn't a bad performance from Fury. He had to battle a bad cut. It just looked bad because of the blood. Furys mistake was leaning into Wallin without covering his face at times. There were times he covered up and landed tremendous body shots and there were times that he just stayed close and came in without defense. Wallin was able to land some punches on the cut, but nothing that could do real damage. Fighting Wilder is a different motivation than fighting Wallin. Fury will be ready for Wilder because the danger is real. Now it's Wilders turn to get through a dangerous opponent and win. I think that Wilder gets rid of Ortiz in 3 rounds or less.
