You guys are stupid if you think Calzague can beat Winky Wright.

Is this a joke?!? atsch I love Winky but come on!!! Winky likes to fight at his own pace which is far slower than Joes, Joes would be far too fast and busy and could beat Winky all day long.

 

This would be a pretty good fight.

 

like I said in the other winky-calzaghe thread, if you pick Winky over Calzaghe than you should consider yourself an uneducated boxing fan.

 

i feel very embarassed for the people who actually think that winky would have a chance with calzaghe, winky is not in his prime, and calzaghe is there or there abouts. lets put is this way hopkins beat winky quite convingingly and the general concensus is that calzaghe would wipe the floor with hopkins so what would he do 4 winky let me tell you what he would do, some free plastic surgery, winky would not be dumb enough 2 step in the ring with calzaghe at this stage of his career, and to say calzaghe is very big is also untrue hes no more than average in thie division just cant cut the weight as easily as he used to.

this ain't jermaine taylor dip****, calzaghe is bigger and stronger than winky, how the **** is winky going to march him down? he'll be walking onto combos all night if that's the case.

 

Taylor is bigger than Calzaghe, and possibly stronger, definitely more athletic and hits harder :good

 

Wright is well setup to deal with orthodox fighters but I think he would struggle against an awkward and unusual fighter like Calzaghe. Especially since he is significantly slower and smaller.

 

all of those can be disputed, but he lacks calzaghe's ability to adapt to situations and his boxing brain, joe would never allow himself to be backed up onto the ropes like taylor was against winky and allow winky to do his best work.

 

that's your comeback is it? winky will block EVERYTHING! calzaghe like hopkins is a master of angles, he will land, on a regular basis.

Hmmm...a rather ridiculous assertion. Fpr a start Winky is too small.He looked grossly out of shape at 170 against Borenard. Secondly, Calzaghe is far superior to Winky p-4-p anyway.
