If you think Jennings is a threat to Wladimir then you have no idea about boxing. This will be one of the biggest schoolings in boxing history.

AFAIK, the only idiot who has said that Jennings will win is Boxer Ears.

    Bad thread

Isn't this the second thread you've made where you try to convince these imaginary Jennings backers that Wlad will win.

No one is picking Jennings. Get that through your head

Im a fan of Jennings. Liked him since his toe to toe with Byarm on NBC replacing the Liakovich Chambers fight.

Loved how he systematically broke Liakovich down, mowed down Koval, boxed beautifully vs Collins, showed great poise vs Tupou and placed the perfect counter UC vs Fedosov saving himself from defeat.

Put on an schooling vs Szpilka and overcame a tough opponent in perez.

All great fights. All great steps up. A very well established contender in the making.

However, he has absolutely NOTHING to trouble Wladimir except his heart, his endurance, and his will.

Of which at least 2 of the 3 will be broken by Dr Steel Hammer.

He should have exercised his mandate and taken on Wilder. :-(

I don't think there's a significant number of people who genuinely thinks Jennings will beat Wlad. The dude couldn't even beat Perez, that was a robbery. He's simply a cherry pick on Wlad's end.

That was by no means a robbery, I had Jennings up by a round even without the point deduction. Close fight, but no robbery... I fail to see how it's a cherry pick by Wlad either, Jennings has a high ranking with most of the ABC's, good Boxrec ranking, and some solid wins. Maybe a mismatch on paper, but definitely not a cherrypick...

I'm not saying Jennings is a lousy boxer, but his career is made up of 17 defeats against cab drivers, 1 decent KO and 1 highly controversial points win. Getting the biggest fight on heavyweight shouldn't be this easy. And yes, in my opinion he was indeed a cherry pick, obviously Wlad had many options in the top 10, and he went for the least risky opponent.

    17 cabbies.

One of which just finished off ATG Adamek.
One of which put top 20 HW Mago into a permanent state of paralysis.
One of which was a former world titlist.
Several of whom have a solid, quality resume as gatekeepers.

Not bad at all for a guy with only 17 fights. Much more deserving of a shot that Wilder before Stiverne.

    And ????

You said MANY OPTIONS in the top 10 aside from Jennings.:huh:huh

    Who was free?
    Solis?
    Glaskov?
Tarver?(who recently squeeked in with his win over Banks)

Which of those 3 is a BETTER option?:lol::lol:

    It's arguable.

Had he won even the WBA minor version of the HW title, he would have cemented himself, but alas, he chose a cashout fight rather than a legacy sealer. :rofl
