You realize Szpilka and Perez aren't the 17 cabbies I was referring to, don't you? They were the 18th and 19th fights and I called them "1 decent KO and 1 highly controversial points win". Please properly read a post before responding to it.

He could push a Fury fight, he could go for unification with Wilder instead of announcing the fight on Wilder-Stiverne night, he could have a rematch with Povetkin who beat great fighters recently, but he didn't push for anything, instead jumped in for Jennings as the safest option.

    Fury seems to be next.

Wilder will be a difficult fight to make, but eventually it will be made probably next year.

A guy he's already fought and expressed NO interest in a rematch.

Fury, who was already signed to fight Hammer a week or so after he beat Chisora, and is openly pursuing Wilder, and Wilder, who is looking to fight Tarver or Fury.:think

Yeah, there are potentially better fighters in the top 10. Hell, Pulev is still the RIGHTFUL #2.

Ustinov would beat Jennings, Wilder, Fury, and Stiverne if they were lined up every 3 months for a yr. But Wlad cant go there now can he???

How bout you just be happy that Wlad is cleaning out the division and fighting mandates and undefeated fighters time after time after time.:-:)-:)-(

GAYMAN is looking to sign Wilder to a 5 fight deal on Showtime.

Wlad recently inked a 6 fight deal with HBO.

Im certain Wlad would oblige, but Im almost positive that Wilder would not fight on HBO. He'll pull an Adonnna Stevenhoe.

What a news flash!! Of course he isnt going to win. 17 amateur fights and 19 professional fights and not a big puncher by heavyweight standards. This thread was a brillant insight. :patsch

His resume is a lot better than some of the other contenders/prospects out there, it's much better than Wilders for example and he holds a "title".

Fedosov isn't a bum btw... Neither is Tupou, and Liakhovich wasn't bad for the time either. There really aren't that many options for Wlad at the moment, so I don't exactly see how it's a cherrypick... Are you suggesting he shelf himself until fights with Fury/and or Wilder materialize? He isn't getting any younger, he needs to fight as much as possible.
