He definitely wasn't in his prime, but that is no excuse for the way Pacquiao won. He absolutely destroyed him. Something not even JC could do against RJJ, a fighter that is the same size as JC and probably more shot than DLH. But I'm sure you think that was an awesome win for JC. Please...

I'll have to see my fight this Saturday to see, it shocked me that Pac dominated.
And I wish Amsterdam was back.

Roy landed on Cal, and he lost in 12...and Little PAc as you all said beat big bad Dlh lol. I saw a shot fighter. You can sit here and lie to us that PAc had this great performance...but to me, PAc is s special fighter and you guys doubted him and I didn't for some reason because I knew Dlh would perform the way he did. I'm wrong some times about boxing, but I saw this a mile away. Dlh did not think Pac was that good, but he couldn't do anything about that...right??? lol. Dlh was shot so stop lying to the boards!

Sorry but I have to go against you in this one.

For a shot fighter DLH got all the advantages he needed and WAY more, as a matter of fact he had so many advantages in this fight one would think he must be paralyzed going in. Also, Pacquiao was a HUGE underdog going in the fight for that same reason, it's funny how people are forgetting this now or trying to by being ignorant.

The reason he lost is Manny Pacquiao.

You all doubted PAc. I know a shot fighter when I see one. I knew Dlh would be weak and you guys said he wouldn't be that weak. You guys gave Dlh every advantage except you forgot that Dlh had to lose weight. This isn't 154 coming down to 147. This is 170 coming down to 145 and looking skinny and fighting like he was stuck in molasses. I agree PAc would give prime Dlh a fight at a catch, but yesterday I saw a depleted, shot fighter who couldn't even pull the trigger..

Last time i heard, Oscar was very competitive against Mayweather and cleanly defeated Forbes. Yeah Pac definitely made Oscar & MAB shot.

What's funny is I'm sure you've never boxed before, so you really have no clue how fighters can just look horrible against someone (like DLH against PAC) and everyone says they are shot, then they come back and look amazing against someone else.

Pacquiao's style is what made DLH look worse than him being past his prime. :good

Pacs first fight with MAB, everyone said MAB was shot afterward cause he didn't land anything. Low and behold, he looks good and competetive for years after against other guys. :huh

Even JC against B-Hop, I thought B-Hop looked shot, but then he comes back and makes Pavlik (a guy moving up in weight.) look silly.

Give credit where credit is due my friend.

Here's this guy's analysis of last nights fights...a GREAT one because it was quite close to what actually occurred but I shall point out why he is an ******* for starting this thread :good

This guy's description implies that it will be scary and competitive in the first few rounds and DLH will fire jabs...and that overall...DE LA HOYA WOULD NOT LOOK AS SHOT AS HE DID AGAINST PACQUIAO but rather an aging fighter that should CONSIDER retirement...

DID WE SEE ANYTHING VALID FROM OSCAR LAST NIGHT OTHER THAN THIS ****ER NEEDS TO RETIRE?!

The answer is no...no one...NOT EVEN YOU NALLEGE...could've figured that it was going to be THIS one-sided...this pacteron attitude and threads need to stop...Although i must admit...I used to get quite upset from your posts and constant hate mongering...

Now its all comical and funny...I take nothing you say with serious heart or consideration...You are a hater...Your job is to hate...and everyone needs job security...so keep hating

I picked Pacquiao to win by UD but still had my doubts because only recently DLH gave Mayweather hell. I know DLH had to move down to 147 and mentioned it numerous times during discussions, however that doesn't completely delete the fact that he was STILL the bigger man BY FAR at the weight. DLH had the reach, height, weight, experience, power and almost everything except for age advantage, what more can he ask for to make up for only ONE disadvantage?, he wasn't a huge favorite going in the fight for nothing, it's just that Pacquiao was underestimated and no one expected him to do what no one has done to DLH ever before especially when he's the smaller man in there. As far as not being able to pull the trigger, you might want to give Pacquiao credit yet again for that one, he was the one who applied some great movement, slipping punches, throwing in combinations and was just fighting defensive/aggressive in a smart calculated way. If you want to give Pacquiao zero credit then sure go ahead, I don't want to do that and think it's beyond ridiculous.
