It pains me to say this....but eventually I say yes.

Just look at the overall talent level today in MMA opposed to it's origin just 15 or so years ago. 15 years!!

MMA is bigger than boxing is NOW....and it is growing bigger by the day.

I suspect that Golf has overtaken Boxing! What are we going to do? I don't know if mma can get as big as golf. Is there any hope?

Those UFC frat boys are in the millions and anyone who says that boxing leads the way in UFC's target demograph (18-30 year old males) is simply out of touch.

What exactly are you basing that on? Pray tell where did you get that figure? Either way boxing currently is far more succesful. You only have to check the cash register. Either way its a semantic point and utterly futile.

Boxing is obviously bigger than MMA overall, but what I am seeing is younger people are becoming more interested in MMA at a quicker rate then they are in boxing. I don't have statistics to show this, it's just what I am seeing. Far more people I know would rather talk MMA then boxing, it's simply an observation. Wether this is a fad or not, only time can tell.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if MMA surpasses boxing.

Amateur boxing has been greatly toned down. I don't think it is possible to do that in MMA to avoid some gruesome stuff happening.

Seriously tell me boxing hasn't been guilty of the same thing. I don't think MMA will ever out do boxing as it is far more evolved at this point. But, I hardly doubt Boxing will ever be able to do damage to MMA or likewise. I really can't wait till people realize they are 2 different sports.

UFC has to be a bunch of marketing whores because they are still breaking new ground in many countries states and provinces.

I will be honest boxing has almost died in Canada while MMA is running huge and gaining momentum. Its not because boxing sucks or not exciting but its because of bad marketing.

I do wish fighters in boxing got promoted better here and that I had more friends into it. Boxing just doesn't do enough to hype there fights.

Says who? I cannot not say otherwise but that is a pretty bold statement.

I am seeing the same thing. Both sports can co exist but things need to start happening on the promo level for boxing. After Bhop Paqiauo Hatton and RJJ, who is going to take over the throne?

I already know the names personally as I am an avid fan. But they sure as **** aren't getting promoted as top level fighters and may not have a lime light to go to if a higher standard isn't met.

If one thing boxing can learn from MMA its promoting other fighters on thier cards besides the main event. Alot of times all you hear about is the main event and can't find out who is fighting on the undercard. Who can honestly say they knew who Chad Dawson was until until he had 20 fights?

No-Fighters dont earn enough money to get other countries really interested in it. Boxing is big world wide.
